- how can i get rid of nicotine stains? i got them on my fingers where i hold my cigs and they are nasty looking.2)i get really bad razor burn / zits when ever i shave. im not sure which it is cause i dnt know what razor burn looks like but it looks like small zits with white heads that pop puss. its only around my mouth and looks nasty. what can i do to prevent this? do you think its razor burn or acne? iv had facial hair for like 3 years now but rarely do a clean shave (i usually use a beard trimmer to keep it close) because of this, or i rarely clean shave so this happens. i know that its happened for atleast a year. any suggestions?

Quit smoking =)

you may to try a shave gel for sensitive skin. it may just be acne, or your razor may not be sharp enough. OR you are going across the skin too many times with your razor and making it irritated.

Have you tried an electric razor?Try one that has the lotion option with it.

- Quit smoking. Done. 2. Lather up face with soap. Apply shave gel. Shave with grain. Apply moisturizer...and if you want to, before applying moisturizer, apply some type of clearisil or something. Do it before, because if it dries out your skin, moisturizing will aide with that too. Don't pull out the hairs that are in grown. Tweeze them out to the surface, but don't pull them completely out. This may cause them to grow back underneath the skin -- opposite of what you want, of course. Also, one more thing on the shaving: Aveeno makes a shave gel that doesn't smell fantastic, but more neutral, and it definitely helps. I have the coarse hair that curls, on my face, due to my heritage (half black - no racism), so...I used to get in grown hairs and pimples after shaving really badly. After following those steps and using the aveeno shave gel, I get maybe one or two on my face and they are by no means noticeable unless you're up close and personal. Good luck, man.

I use a Braun electric shaver and can get a close shave. You have to stretch the skin to get he hair to stick out a bit when shaving.

I get a close shave with my Norelco/Phillips electric but razor burn has been the plague of my adult years.I haven't found the answer yet I'm afraid.Nivia for Men, Sensitive is pretty goodI've tried asuline oil (recommended for bikini waxing) but it didn't really help and I didn't like the oily feeling on my skin.My friend made me up a "secret formula" wich is Witch Hazel and Pomegranit Oil. It's actually not bad but still not the "cure"

unfirtunatly, because my beard is so wirey and grows in all random directions (hence the razor burn) it's also itch as hell when it grows in.
