So Im 20, im a virgin, ive been masturbating for a long time. I have never had any problems physical wise, I have been depressed in the past I believe, not the happiest person for a long time, im getting over it(I believe its somewhat part of my problem but i dont know, now days im a happy guy).but masturbating feel good and all but when i cum its just like nothing special thats it... I keep on seeing people talk about orgasms, Ive read what people said they think they feel like and Ive hardly ever felt that, I think i have once or twice but Im not even sure if it was... But its like I do it and cum and im sitting there like what not that was it? I should have just done the stop and go method and kept on masturbating because my orgasms if I even have them feel like nothing...Ive also read that people say it feels like a build up of pressure then its like a release when you orgasm, I have massaged my prostate before and it felt like pressure was building up and it was a weird feeling(a good feeling) but I couldnt orgasm from it(or i didnt do it long enough), kind of hard to reach on my own... but when I think I had an orgasm if it was a really weak one was when I masturbated 3 times in like 40 minutes the last one felt kind of good, and I just wanted to lay there and not move, it was weird... I can masturbate a lot close together, or I can make it last forever, I dont know...Is it because ive never been with a woman? I dont think it could be because im circumcised, Could it be diet related. could it be emotional... I just been looking up "guy cant have orgasm" and nothing ever comes up..... Im going crazy.

No orgasm when ejactulating?
-
This has been mentioned by several people, so it seems to be much commoner than generally believed. The usual term is "ejaculatory anhedonia". There's a very brief Wikipedia article.
-
anhedonia due to depression is a possibility.it has also been recognized by experts for years that orgasm and ejaculation aren't necessarily the same thing. Many people practice techniques to orgasm without ejaculation in order to become multi-orgasmic. I've also experienced the difference between mediocre release and a mind-blowing "capital O" (and I've been with a woman or two)There are plenty of things you can try like a short abstinence, prolonged edging (even over days) for example.

I found this site... http://ejaculatoryanhedonia.com/index.php from what I read there isnt a cure for it... I dont think with me it is a spinally related(it could be, never been looked at by a doctor, wish I had the money too, once i get out of college this year ill look into it).I seriously think its depression related, or the fact that im not really that into it when Im doing it, one time a couple days ago I was feeling really good and masturbated and it was good and it felt like a small orgasm if any, kind of felt a slight tingle over my body, and just felt kinda good after that... So hopefully its just something I need to work on, I think its also my weight, im 250lbs and 6'5, not a huge dude but Im not happy with my weight, 220-230 would be better... ive started working out eating right and what not, i think its some stuff I need to work on. And the fact that i have no girlfriend even though im out there looking.Even as young as I was when I started masturbating I dont ever realy remember having orgasms, id have wet dreams and sometime not wake up from them. I still have wet dreams to this day If I got for about a week without masturbating, I plan on going a week or 2 to see if anything changes, I just need to be more optimistic but this gets me down big time, which Is something I dont need. Thanks for any help and any future help!!!

How interesting that there is a forum on it - quite a recently-started one, it seems.Your post here suggests you are tense and anxious, and I wonder if that is related.

Could you elaborate on your thought of anxiety and tense? And im looking into MSG(its put into food, im sure yall have heard of it), it can mess with GABA, which is what some people says fixes this problem, it can also cause depression, random headaches, all of this which I have, it causes a lot of other problems in people also. Im trying to eat healthier, no fast food, soda, processed food, and trying to cut out MSG, but its hard to do that completely in this day and age.some people have fully fixed their problem with just vitamin B, so it could be something as simple as that, or MSG, or something totally different and complicated. since i havnt noticed this problem for the last 10 years, it doesnt affect me like some do, having orgasms for 20 years then bam nothing, with me its always been nothing, at least everything works right and it feels good minus it supposed to feel really good at the end. Thanks for the replys!

Well, it seems that you have trouble sleeping, and trouble staying still when you are awake. That suggests that you tend to have an over-stimulated sympathetic autonomic nervous system - this is the part of your nervous system that is stimulated by stress. Perhaps you have excessive levels of adrenaline in your blood? When your body is on stress setting - a setting originally intended for danger, hunting, battle, and things like that - you become more wakeful, and blood flow and energy are diverted from areas that can wait, like the genitals, to be available for quick movements, for fighting or running away.I've replied to your other post about MSG.

Would this problem have no happened later in life from this and not as young as say 13-16. I mean im only 20, and always had this problem. Ive never had any blood work done.It makes sense, ive always had problems sleeping.I was also thinking it could be a low thyroid problem? I think I read something about thyroid and sleeping and it has something to do with GABA. ive been on this computer for a long time and cant remember everything I read. Im sleepy a lot though, but I have problems sleeping, ? could be related, if I do fall asleep I can sleep for 12-15 hours if no one wakes me up.im only 20 and may not know what im talking about though.

It could have a number of reasons. A lot of people have Generalised Anxiety Disorder, with similar symptoms, with no known cause.
