Alright, now I understand I'm in a performing dance group. But how can I not.Even when I sandbag I'm one of the top dancers. And when you dance, you have to dance as a team, I CAN'T! not sandbag and dance properly Gah. And yet, I can't avoid making a Warcraft reference.I was in a group and I was watching the damage meters. My sword skill was low, which means I couldn't max my damage. I was lagging, AND I was only half assing. But here was the dps meter at the end.Me 1 4375Other 4 2545Other 3 2252Other 2 2700Now granted I should have been pulling 5000-5500. But why bother? I was already way over geared for the instance and besides being over geared I was doing nearly 2x as much as the others.Yet, I get complained at for Sand Bagging? I suppose you can argue if I'm sandbagging others might, but it's a little different when you're out preforming someone that much.

"Stop Sandbagging"

I understood nothing in your post after, "Alright, now I understand," after that I recognized some words but it was like they were in a jumbled up code.

What in the good fuck are you talking about?Im with scotty on this post.
-
WTF you talking about, Willis?
-
LOL I am guessing he talking about grouping with people in an MMO.. like Worlds of Warcraft or EverQuest II. As a gaming geek I understood everything lolThe numbers listed is the DPS (Damage Per Second) dealt to a mob(s). The higher the number the higher the damage.

This is even better.. it makes me laugh every single timehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtvIYRrgZ04Just so you know before you watch, someone recorded this on a program called "Ventrillo", their raid leader just went insane. Shows you how truly crazy some people are LOL.. and the animations they used to deplay what was going on is just priceless!!(and again sorry Scotty, without volume it won't make much sense lol)

I was 100% lost the entire video

Depends really if its for a public audience then if you perform better the audience will have a better experience. Warcraft is just about making it through the boss, it's not about doing it in a flashy way, its pass or fail. Dancing is much more subjective.

well i suppose knowing some on the lingo would really help..DoT's = Damage Over Time...ehh nm you probably still would be lost even if I explained it all lol. I guess its only funny for us MMO Geeks lol

Massive multi online role playing game. I knew people might not understand my dancing situation, so I was hoping they'd understand numbers. I'm a little more awake so let me try to retype this in a quick easy way to understand. smaller numbersBasically. Using skill levels we'll say 1-6 in our dance group. Most of our dancers are level 2. I'm a level 5 capable dancer. I slack to a level of 3. They notice my slack because they occasionally have to point out I'm slopish in my dance. or I'm spaced out.However. here's the thing. I still do what needs to be done. We're a team dance requiring 4-6 dancers. You're supposed to all look like you're doing the same thing. To do this, I have to slack because they're improper. I get bitched for this. And I'm rather annoyed because the dance leader goes on about how important it is for us to look like we're doing the same thing even if it's wrong. But goes on about me slacking and not doing my best.

I think slacking is not the same as following others when they are slacking. If you slack in your own way, it increases the effect of indiscipline and disorder in the audience's mind, as you'll be different from the others. Doing something wrong because the others can't do it right and you need to all do the same, however, requires special discipline, especially of your sense of pride.
