hello im so glad i found this forum.so my girlfriend who is 22 years old (maybe it matters) and i have sex quite often, i'm not bragging or anything, but just informing?and most of the time, her vagina smells pretty bad. sometimes, i just fake it like i came because its so bad.it seems like she notices the smell too, because she asks me if it smells at times (i don't want to hurt her feelings so i just say no)should i tell her that she has a problem?if so how should i tell her?what can she do to fix this problem?i feel like i have less desire to have sex sometimes because of it. this is a serious issue for me so any advice would be nice.thanks. (to those that think that this is a joke, its not i'm just trying to fix this relationship)

Sex, relationship, oh the odor.

You should tell her.
But there's something important to know: Is this smell new and different to her?
Every woman should know what their natural odor is and it could change during her cycle. But if this smell is different and completely new to her, then something changed. And that may be an infection.
If she showers or bathes, is the same smell still there? If so, then maybe that's her natural scent. And if that's so, then you'll get used to it.

There's no way to say it without causing some pain, but it needs to be said, so you have to pluck up courage and say something. If you never say your mind because you don't want to hurt the other person's feelings, even someone you love very much, you'll be digging yourself into an underdog position and building up a reservoir of anger. Most likely it's yeast and can be easily fixed with the appropriate cream.

You said it smells bad most of the time. When does it not smell? Can you figure out what is different then? What others said about a change in smell is relevant. I once had a girlfried who was very...pungent, shall we say. There was nothing wrong with her (and I happened to like it)...but that was just her natural smell. But if there's been a change (she would know), then something not right is definitely going on. A gyno visit may be in order...for reasons of her own health as well as for the smell. Maybe take that concern into the conversation as a way of easing things up a bit for you.
