His music always makes me feel like I'm in a fairytale. Love music like that. They have something like it in that movie Atonement.

Quote:I think I'm going away for a while. Certain kinds of classical music...I do like Mozart, but his music rocks and isn't very calming.Being on a lake or the bay fishing at 6 AMButt parked on a lawnchair in my backyard sipping a rum & coke while the sun goes down

I listen to music and watch comedy shows, routines, movies, etc.

well speaking of classical (which i know not a thing about so dont ask me) but anytime i hear Fur Elise its like complete serenity
other then that theres
-oddly enough, cold air. either from an air conditioner or window open in the winter or even breath bouncing off ice cubes in a glass
-that whistling sound the wind makes when it picks up a little bit
-someone (preferably female) stroking my hair or wrist, dont know why but light fingernails on my inner wrists just seems to calm me down almost to the point of falling asleep, well probably not when im pissed off but you get the picture
-the sound of my girlfriends voice especially when she sings or falls asleep and makes those noises people tend to make when theyre asleep that dont involve snoring THANK GOD
-my nieces used to before i lost them

The Two Towers because everything in that one I can relate to the most. Eowyn's ENTIRE life story parallels mine not exactly but almost (hence the reason she's my favorite character), Faramir's mistreatment from his father and his missing of his brother, Merry and Pippin's friendship growing stronger in hard times, Gandalf and Theoden's fatherly figure. They always give me a comforting and safe feeling when they're present both in the movie and the book. Especially Theoden at the Battle of Helm's Deep. Incredible. Showing that he's not perfect and invincible but has his weaknesses and faults. And basically all the symbolism. Tolkien was a friggin genius, I swear. You get the idea. And the music in that one movie makes me want to cry every single time I watch it. On my ipod or just watching it. Especially the song playing when Theoden is released from Saruman's hold. I know I'm a weirdo but it's like my anti-depressant lol

\>\>\>"What calms you down when you're sad or upset?"
The big white pills and the little green pills.
No... well, yeah.. but no.
What calms me down is getting it out of my system. Like Mr. U listening to angry music, driving fast, cussing everybody on the road.
On the rare occasion I'm really pissed, depressed and frustrated all at the same time it usually ends in me banging my head against the wall or with my fists or slashing myself with a sharp object. That's only for a few seconds though until I regain my composure and it's very, very rare maybe once every couple or more years.
Yeah, I got problems. :open\_mouth: As if you didn't already know that. -

A few times he had to step in and make sure Theoden held it together. But Aragorn was not perfect either. When he and Theodon were walking the wall and Aragorn was complaining about how many were coming and the need to call for help, Theoden stopped him and reminded him of the need to keep up a front for the sake of the morale of his people. Quote:Tolkien was a friggin genius, I swear. That's an understatement, in my opinion.BTW, I recommed the extended versions of the DVDs, if you haven't got them already. Each has an extra 30-45 minutes of footage that is wonderful, if you liked the books. But I'm still pissed they left out Tom Bombadil...one of the most interesting characters in the whole trilogy.

Honestly, I smoke as much weed as possible! :fearful:
-
Well Aragorn is just an awesome character in every way. But I just wanted to point out the characters that really stood out to me the most.
And yes it was an understatement.
You better believe that I have the extended version lol. And the books. Did I mention I was a LOTR fiend?

Except for the omission of Tom Bombadil, I was pretty pleased with how well the movies stuck to the books (as far as they went). But I think to do complete justice to the books, each movie would have had to have been about 6 hours long each!Oh...and the books. I read The Hobbit when I was 8, LOTR when I was 9, and even had the youthful audacity to write Tolkien a letter asking a question about the books. He actually wrote me back! I've read LOTR at least ten times since then. Yep...I'm about as fiendish as they get.

Music + 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T = Perfect BlissAlthough, at the moment my car is out of commission. I fried some of the balls in my turbo (ball BEARINGS) (pun intended lol). It wasn't all my fault though, the turbocharger needed to be replaced anyways, it was leaking lubricant, oddly enough from the bearing's housing. New turbo gets in tomorrow, so it's off to bed for me, big day!If you've never heard of him, check out Ronald Jenkees His stuff is CRAZY good. Some is serene, but mostly just fun and energizing.
