Ok, its been awhile that I have had these little bumps on part of my scrotum, and I have no idea what they are. I am a virgin and have never had any type of sex so it can't be herpes correct?? The only thing else that I found to be remotely a possibility is something called molluscum contagiousum. What could this be???One thing that I found odd is that the are only on the left side of my scrotum. There is maybe at the most 4 or 5 of these bumps on the right side. Sometimes they get infected, and they almost act as pimples but that doesn't make sense. Most of the time though, they don't hurt or cause any discomfort except for mental. Could it just be clogged follicles??? I really don't know. Like I said, I've never had any type of sex before. And also, the bumps really don't go away as far as I know, unless some go away and others show up. But I know one spot that hasn't gone away...it's been there for a while.I'm afraid that once I get married these will still be here and my wife will think they are herpes or something. Here is a picture if this helps anyone helping me find out what this is. Please don't look if you are just gonna be immature.http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/2407/cimg3733go6.jpg

Worried...what is this??? (mature picture inside)

Doesn't look serious. They look like sebaceous glands or sebaceous cysts.

From the picture, it could be molluscum contagiosum. This is a viral infection that can be picked up by means other than sexual contact. You might want to consult a dermatologist.

Is it one of those viruses that is easily passed through sexual contact, but doesn't have to be??I've never had sexual contact with anyone ever.
