I didn't say it was. I just don't think it was an accident.

The Dark Knight

I think it was an accident too. He had so much ahead of him just waiting to be taken.
I just saw the movie today. It was insanely good that.. if it were a person I'd marry it. I felt weird seeing Heath on screen like that but that was if not is his best performance.

Quote:How can we say whether it was or it wasn't?Was he gay? No, he had a child with Michelle Williams, and also dated Naomi Watts at some time.

I would like to point out that no matter how much someone has ahead in their life, does not play in suicides... I mean look at Chris Farley his career was great but he overdosed. If you want to know if it was intentional or not find out what drug it was and what dosage he was given and lastly how much it would take to kill you. I feel bad that he did die, good actor, but nothing can be done now about it, sadly.

Haha, me too, though I used to watch it with some Chinese kid who lived down the road from me. He had to have been around 18, and I was, like, 7...I wonder why my parents stopped me from hanging out with him...:PAnyway, I will probably pirate this movie. Not that I'm not willing to pay, it's just not being shown in Japan. And if I have to wait another two-ish weeks to see it, I'll go nuts.

It would be if the you know it will kill you to take the amount you are taking. Even if you are in emotional distress and do it, it is still suicide since you are taking your life in grief.

just got back from the movie. it was often predictable but other than that, it was awsome!!!

Heath Ledger was an amazing actor, and in part, I believe this is what added to his depression, because as with the best method actors, he had to take on the role of The Joker, which means he basically allowed himself to become the character, and as he was already known to be suffering from depression, this could not have helped matters, as has previously been mentioned whether or not it was suicide, only one person will ever really know the answer to that, though I know someone who suffers from manic depression, and I would say to my mind, I believe that it was accidental as he had also had a drink according to the news, and that really doesn't go hand in hand with the drugs he was reputedly taking, which could have caused any number of complications, including death! It wouldn't even necessarily need to be an overdoese... the classic one to that would be Malaria tablets, you can pick them up at any pharmacy... just read the back for possible side effects, I forget which version it is, but there are two versions on the market in the UK, one of which, the very last side effect is Death... which doesn't need you to take more than one, it's just how you body copes with what you put in it, if you have a particularly bad reaction to even that tablet (not exactly a strong drug really) it can still kill you, so I would suggest that Heath Ledger's death was accidentalAlso, as to was he gay... well, who knows, and does it really matter? He was a brilliant actor!!!Oooh, and one last thing: please no spoilers for the new movie, as I have yet to be entertained by its greatness laters all!

some might still not understand what your saying so ill help a little if this is what you meant, i think what youre saying is that he didnt end his life because he didnt want to live, just that he was responsible for his death either through accident or suicide. right?

OH MY FRICKIN' GOD!!!Just saw the movie today and WOW!Absolutely fantastic film, definitely one of the best I've ever seen. Although it was named wrong, it should have been called The Joker, Batman was simply a side character. Joker was actually a terrifying character, brilliantly portrayed. I always say Jack Nicholson as the best Joker but now he has been beaten. I hope that they bring him back because it can be done. It'd be hard to cast the role again but as long as they just avoid big names (Johnny Depp, etc...) I think they can pull it off. In my opinion, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Its the eyes...

Just got back from the movie. I'm always the last to see the good stuff.Ho-lee crap! This movie blew me out of the water. There are no words to describe the awesomeness of this film.Definitely worth a place in my DVD collection. And Ledger as Joker...just...brillant.
-
could not agree more. he rocked my socks!! like.. right off.
-
Ledger just replaced Nicholson in my heart.
Ledger reminded me why I've always been a Joker fan.
And they way the violence was shown; there's no blood but it somehow made it more...scarier.
-
yep. lol my friend said "yeah.. watching that movie made me realize that joker is one crazy motherfucker."
and thats soo freaking true. lol -
i only go when i REALLY want to see something, even still it sucks because most of the time ill get a drink and itll be half gone before the movie has even started and i have to piss like a racehorse the entire friggin movie

Ledger was awesome but no one could ever replace Nicholson in my heart lol. I love Jack too much.
-
sorry hun but Ledger blew him out of the water, shot out of the water himself then kicked jack in the nuts in the air, while winking, and still being scary as fucki mean jack was damn good but any of the old batman movies always felt too childish, not as real
-
Um.. last time I checked I wasn't talking to you so fall back..lol jkthat's why I said "in my heart" and don't talk about my Jackie poo like that. =PIMO, Ledger and Nicholson both portrayed the Joker in two different awesome ways. They were both sick and twisted maniacs only Jackie was more humous and Heath was more... dark.
