I think everyone on here might need a reminder. Especially animefreak, that rule #1 on the forums is Don't be an asshole. I know some of us can be upset with others sometimes but I would at least expect decency when you're upset with someone. Saying that I'm trolling the forums?! are you fucking kidding me? Pull your head out of your ass animefreak. if your gonna act like an asshole to me, leave the fucking forum. I don't wanna waste my time reading your garbage about me. If your not gonna comply then I'll talk to Ineligible about getting you removed. All I ask for is a little respect around here considering it's an online forum.

I'm back, BUT...

Quote:rule #1 on the forums is Don't be an asshole.Indeed it is.Forgiveness would be the Christian way, I think ("...turn the other cheek...").

All of these are highly offensive. It's possible that the first one might be a joke (and highly ironic), but I saw nothing to indicate it. The following three are obviously not jokes and appear to be saying that many other people have inferior religions/beliefs that are not valid.
Of course, you continue to make offensive remarks here:

Don't ask for decency or respect if you're not going to give it as well. And if you ask other people to discuss your beliefs and question you, then don't expect any differently.
Off to the 50th state. -
ok the first one was a joke. the 2nd one i already said in the frigging post that it was a flawed argument. the next two were kind of sarcastic. this post was more related to the last half of the discussion where Rad, virtual star, and animefreak were saying that stuff.
-
You just made youself look like such a huge ASS!Animefreak wasn't talking about you! He was replying to me about HCI.Please, know the story. You now owe him a HUGE apology.
-
and im making offensive remarks right now because im pissed off at him. if you're gonna say mean things expect mean things back in return. im not gonna settle for someone talking badly at me. i would never insult someone just because they didnt agree with me. but i will insult you back if your insult me first.
-
Animefreak WAS NOT referring to you!
Don't you get it?
-
ok ok well it seemed like it. im just mad at the whole situation. it didnt turn out the way it planned. and it got out of control and pissed me off so i left to vent. and now theres a hole in my wall and a broken chair. maybe they should make the part where it says who a person's responding to a little bigger so my blind eyes can see it. i apologize. i guess that's what they call blind anger. sorry sorry sorry.
-
by the way. i dont think HCI is trolling. I didn't really intend for this to cause bad feelings. let's just put this behind us before it gets worse.
-
That's fine, but you still owe Animefreak an apology if he comes and sees what you started.Next time, double check your anger. Posting your anger doesn't solve anything and in the end makes things worse. In this case, it made you seem worse than I hope you really aren't.Let this be a lesson to you.
-
I'll definitely apologize to him when he gets on if he even reads this topic.
-
A.W., are you saying that offensive things were said by the non-Christian side, or are you saying that if the non-believers insult the Christians, then the non-Believers deserve to get insulted back?Do you see intolerance as going in one direction only?

umm... first rule Quote: Personal information We ask all Members and Visitors not to post any identifying information on the forums. This includes e-mail addresses, phone numbers, personal or work addresses and Instant Messenger names (AIM, ICQ etc…) We also ask Members and Visitors not to post messages on the Forums offering people to contact them by any means other than the Private Messaging system provided by AfraidToAsk.com. This can be found for Members in “My Home”.

then why is there a #1 next to it?
-
Probably because it's the first one. It may be an ordinal thing rather than a weight of importance. But the other rules do obtain.
-
We expect our users to treat each other with respect and kindness. It's that simple.Breaking of any of these rules will result in your banishment from AfraidToAsk.com and removal of all your posts.1. While we want to hear your opinions on our board, don't harass others through private messages or email.5. Don't attempt to meet board members in "real-life."6. Question authority, vote in every election, and stand up for your right to speak your mind without fear of persecution or prosecution (look these words up if you don't know what they mean). Please note that you will need to use a VALID e-mail address when joining the AfraidToAsk.com message board. You will be e-mailed a temporary password, which can later be changed by going to your "My Home" then "Edit personal preferences".

Those rules can only be seen right before you register, just to be clear.
-
Yeah that's where I got them from. You have to click Register User.
-
Yes, but I'm not sure that any one of those rules is more important than any other. In the long run, #6 is a lot more important than #1.
-
well, I just referenced the forum rules considering I registered 4 years ago
