Freshwater fish tanks

Yuppers I have one.Do you have an Algae Eatter? Pleco's in my opinion are the best algae eatters. Also I believe there is some type of chemical you can buy that will help kill off the algae. Though be careful, if you kill off to much algae it will also kill off your Algae eatter. Plus personally I don't like using a lot of chemicals in my tank.Best solution if you aready have an algae eatter is to get another one. Apparently your tank produces a lot of algae for whatever reason. This should help reduce the build up.

I have 5 zebra Fish, 5 Neon Tetras, 3 Fancy Tail Black Widow Tetra's, 1 Cichild, Pleco, Dwarf Sucking Catfish (Another Algae eater) and 3 Tiger Barbs. Used to have a beautiful blue Betta, but I think he and the cichild had it out one night and the Beta lost lol.

Yuppers. I clean my fish tank every 2 weeks.

OMG Ashley you're nuts LOL
Mmmmhmm I do see you're in a good mood

As well as algae-eating fish you can get snails. In my experience, though, both fish and snails much prefer to clean the glass than the rocks.

My cichlid is very clam compared to what their temperament is supposed to be. Than again I only have one, and I have been told they are more aggressive in packs. At least that’s always been my experience when I used snails.

You can't just throw in any fish you like becasue you think they are pretty... There are compatability charts and you should ask the place where you are buying them.Look here: Fish Compatability Chart

Well.. I learned that after they all got eatten
