the problem is that ive had a uti before but ive never had one before meeting my new biyfriend ....now i have symptoms once again that are pain when i pee..a little bit of cramping, sensitive breasts/nipples...my first question is i know a man can pass a uti to women but can women pass it to men....also is it possible that this is not a uti but rather a std? if so which one.........TO be honest this is not my question it is my friends but she is just trying to find out if her bf could possibly be messing around on her and if she has an std or a uti it would mean that he is because she was negitive for everything until she met him

UTI or STD

It's quite common for sex to lead to a UTI, not because it is passed on, but because the thrusting can push bacteria up the urethra. This can happen to both men and women, though it seems to happen much more often to women.Painful urination can also be a symptom of gonorrhoea or non-specific urethritis, but a UTI is probably more likely.
