I hate to stir anything more up but I can't resis

Err... wow.Well, usually when I speak in tongues I'm praising Dad and when I get so overwhelmed the Holy Spirit intercedes for me. Basically saying in that heavenly language what I can't say in English.

lollll

He said that? Really?Wow um... CD... I don't think we're on the same page darling .

I actually did, when an evolutionist told me that those arguments were outdated and have since been refuted by modern science. I don't understand what's so wrong with reading a highly supported book by nationwide university professors, then changing my viewpoint on evolution. Stop nitpicking me, no ones perfect. I can conform and change my viewpoints anytime I want. Every single human is learning something each day (and don't be a smart ass and say that Alzheimer's patients aren't learning anymore )Is that enough for you virtual star?

ummm...definitely not on the same page :frowning:

And as I stated before, evolution fits with God. As most evolutionists will tell you, evolution isn't meant to explain how life came to be. All evolution is, is a driving force in nature. Earth-->Plants and Animals-->Humans Genesis is a synopsis inspired by God. The 7 day theory was probably put there because the man who wrote Genesis he didn't have the terms to put it down anymore complex than it is written. We don't know what a day for God is.

wow.. I cannot believe u just said that. You BELIEVE in evolution now? That's crazy.. I can't believe I backed you up so much before.. but hey.. I'd do that to most people who are interested in learning in my beliefs.

Quote:I actually did, when an evolutionist told me that those arguments were outdated and have since been refuted by modern science. Really? An evolutionist? Well, I'm no scientist myself, but I was able to read clearly on the top of the page, "Revised 3/2006". Quote:I don't understand what's so wrong with reading a highly supported book by nationwide university professors, then changing my viewpoint on evolution.I never said it's wrong to change your opinion. I just find it very odd on how quick you went from "evolution is wrong" to "I believe in evolution".Not that you can't think for yourself, but it's like you quickly change sides. That must've been one heck of a book!

Well I think you're misunderstanding the evolution I mean.
We can witness microevolution in daily life.
It doesn't disprove God so we are still on the same page.
I'm never going to deny God or Jesus.
Remember, something cannot come from nothing.

The Bible was inspired by God, not written. If it was written by God, we wouldn't understand it. God inspired each man who wrote each book in the Bible and the man would put it into their own terms of understanding. Notice how each book of the Bible fits perfect with each other and they were all written by different people. God inspired for sure.

We're definetly not even in the same book.

feel free to explain yourself. You think the bible was written in english?
-
I'm going to keep changing my opinions.
My dad told me in the car ride home from hockey, that whether or not you take the Bible as the total truth word for word it does not affect your life either way, all you must do is accept Christ as your savior and repent for your sins and you will surely enter the kingdom of heaven
-
You lost me. Are you SURE we're speaking of the same god because right now it sounds like you just made up your own religion.I really didn't want to get back into this topic. But I'm annoyed with the fact that you have proudly boasted your Christianity and belief in God making others feel unsettled but you've made God out to be this robot. Everything is so technical with you. You keep arguing. Why? Not once since the moment you've started this whole thing have you exhibited what it is to be a child of God. Have you forgotten? God is love. I'm not supporting those who bash and mock Him but you have done nothing but criticize and belittle those who disagree with you. That is not what being a Christian is about.

Ok, the only thing I can tell you stephie is that the Bible is inspired by God. It was written in mostly in Hebrew. Notice how we have 4 different accounts of the life of Jesus. The teachings were intepreted differently. Why aren't we on the same book? We both believe in God, Jesus, and heaven. What else is there to disagree on? Like I said before, it doesn't matter if you take the Bible word for word. It's really not going to affect your life. You need to do only 2 things in your life. Accept Christ and repent for your sins. The rest of the Bible is ways of guidance and ways to live a better life. If you follow most of what is taught in the Bible you will live your life as a great person. If you spread the word of Jesus you will be greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

What does that mean? Is two weeks too short or too long?

Who am I belittling or criticizing? I'm being criticized for changing my opinion. It can take one book, to change your opinion. I'm being belittled because I'm 15, so clearly I don't know anything at all. You know if I don't know anything, then why should I even bother speaking at all. Should I just wait till I'm 65 to begin speaking. Maybe I'm stupid because I've only lived for 15 years. Nahh fuck that, I'm not just gonna wait around till I'm almost dead to start discussing my understanding of God. I'm done explaining it to people who don't wanna hear anything from someone under the age of 20. Any pastor or priest will tell you, you need to do those 2 things in your life. If you accept Christ and allow him into your life, you will love and spread the word with grace. If that doesn't make sense to you, then I don't how else to word it so that it will make sense.

I've been learning about this stuff since I was young.. Still don't know as much as I wish I could
