Hello, A2A! Well, I've got a very minor problem on my hands. It's not really even a problem, just me looking for some advice on my current situation. Anyways, on to the "problem".So, I'm friends with this one girl, that I happen to like. We've hung out before alone, and in groups, and I always seem to just hit it off with her. So, I asked her to go to this festival that's in town with me. Basically, there is a bunch of food from different countries, and entertainment from them (Irish dancing, singing from different countries, different instruments being played, all that). So, I thought it might be a good place to take her on a date. Instead, stupidly, I asked "hey, do you want to go to that festival down by the river with me, and just hang out for the day?" She said yes, but I think she just thinks of it as hanging out as friends, and not as a date. On to my question: Is there any way that I could ask her if she considered this a date, or just ask her if she was interested in me romantically at this event, without it coming off as kind of weird? Thanks for the help, guys!

Somewhat confused, in need of some advice

I dunno I think you did the right thing. Hanging out as friends and just enjoying each others companies is the first most important step. Who knows what might happen at the festival, like holding hands etc. Take it a step at a time, be yourself and have fun!

I think you made the right move. My current relationship started as friends and led to the best relationship of my life. Its important to get to know each other and see really how well you connect before jumping into anything.
