UFC 87 Pierre vs. Fitch
-
I'm watching it but I'm way more excited for UFC 88 with Chuck and Rashad. I'll probably watch it cuz of St. Pierre, he's one of my favorite fighters. Is this the free one? Or is it gonna be the usual $40 on PPV?
-
This one isnt free, standard PPV fee. Im excited for Chuck vs. Rashad just because i love Chuck, but not anywhere near as close as i am for this one. I hate Rashad and i dont care to see him fight anyone. Chuck is one of my favs but he is going downhill. The fight most likely will be lackluster especially since Chuck fucked up his hamstring. Plus 87 is way more stacked. Lesnar/Herring will be fun to watch and Huerta/Florian should be FOTN, should be non-stop action.
-
I disagree with your prediction for Lesnar and Herring. Herring has FARRR more experience in MMA than Lesnar. I bet Herring wins by KO or submission. It'll probably be submission.
-
Herring has TONS of experience but i still expect to see an upset.
-
How can you say Chuck is falling off?? He just beat Wanderlei Silva, one of the greatest fighters MMA has ever seen! He's definitely not falling off.
-
He took Wanderlei to decision who is also not in his prime anymore. Neither of them are in their prime. Their still both forces in the LHW division and maybe one day again champ but they reigns are pretty much over.
-
Forrest and Rampage are gonna be the champs for the next 5 years I think.
I picked Forrest in the fight and everyone else picked Rampage. But Forrest is just brutal with kick boxing and "jacked [his] leg up".
Rumor has it, Kimbo came to spar at Xtreme Couture and everyone was just toying with him and apparently Forrest knocked him out with a head kick.
I laughed my ass off when I first read it because Kimbo challenged Chuck on you tube and even Forrest said that a fight between Forrest and Chuck, Forrest would probably lose by TKO or Decision.
Kimbo is fucked if he ever thinks he can fight in the UFC. For god sakes, BJ Penn could fuck him up and Kimbo outweighs him by 100 pounds.
-
I dont think anyone in the LHW division is going to hold belt for more than a year or 2. That diviion is completely stacked and i wouldnt be surprised to see the belt change every few fights. I also picked Forrest over Shogun and Page and id pick him over Chuck also.
-
Well the only advantage Forrest has is maybe reach because he's like 6'3 and Chuck is like 6'1 or 6'2. I think Chuck would win because Chuck is solid at everything and he's practically unbeatable at stand-up. It would probably go to the score card. I would love to see that fight. I don't know who I'd root for because I love them both.
-
Chuck is far from unbeatable in standup. He has weird angles and good power thats about it. He holds his hands at his side....He out-struck mostly wrestlers in his career and most strikers gave him problems/and or beat him. Jardine, Jackson (Twice), etc.
-
Alot of my predictions were close or right. Huerta lost sadly....GSP dominated though which im stoked about, and Lesnar owned Herring (which i was right about). He knocked him across the ring literally with 1 punch, Herring was sent rolling across the cage and if Lesnar wasnt so green and overly excited he would have finished him.
-
I wanted Huerta to win! (hes a sexy bitch)Glad GSP won too..And I want Brock to win... but he acted like an asshole!!I mainly enjoyed watching the men "dominate" and "mount" eachother.. ahahah! Just kidding!
