I like Braun.. I can't say I've tried others though.. I still have the same one my mom bought for me as a present over 20+ years ago... It still works!

Electric shavers are just plain awful for me... I'm in the RAF, so I have to shave everyday, I also have really thick hair, and sensitive skin... which is a really bad combo!!Electric shavers leave me with a massive shaving rash, and they just don't get close enough, even with the best (I've tried many, believe me) it looks as though I have a 5 o'clock shadow permanently!!For me, the best way has always been to find a really good sensitive skin gel (such as the "Original Source" shaving gel (very good!!)) and a sharp razor (as in change every couple of weeks latest) and then a good moisturiser to keep the skin in shape This keeps the shaving rash to the minimum, and then of course, when I'm off work I end up looking like a hobo by trying to give my skin time to heal up... when I leave the forces, I will shave every other day which will be a great help and stop the shaving rash almost completely, if however you are young... it's just a matter of letting the skin get used to a new sensation, for the first few months I was shaving, every time my skin would be red raw for a few hours afterwards... I used to doubt my technique, but now I realise it's just that my skin took a lot of time to get used to it, and I still get some pretty mad shaving rashes even to this day!!Anyhoo, I know it doesn't really help with an electric razor, but maybe of some help to you with the wet shave
