Hey everybody, I'm back after a long hiatus. I've been gone seeing my girl in Wisconsin all summer (long distance relationship for the past 2 and a half years). The things that have changed since I left is that I now live in a college dorm, I'm poorer XD, and I've had wonderful wonderful sex..But now my girl is a little worried. She believes they are doing physicals this year. While that part doesn't bother you the information they will get does. She wants to know if she has the right to ask them to withold information from her parents. The fact of it being revealed to them that she's had sex would be.. well.. not good for either of us. Her mother is cool with it (in fact she knows we have), but her aunt and grandmother don't need to know (that's who's taking care of her now as her mother has had back surgery and during her recovery can't afford to take care of her for now). If her grandmother and aunt knew.. It really wouldn't be good for either of us.So how far exactly does this information go? Does she have the right to demand it not be released and kept confidential?

Hey guys! I got a question about Physicals!
-
She was looking to get into sports (namely swimming) but was afraid of entering since the physicals also specify an internal examination and she doesn't want the fact that she's no longer a virgin getting to her aunt and grandmother.I was homeschooled since the 4th grade, so I honestly was stumped about any answer to give her and needed some answers from people who have experienced it.

Awesome to hear thanks

It would be very unprofessional for such information to be passed on to anyone, and no information at all should be given to anyone other than parents. But I'm amazed that an internal examination would be done. I can see no justification for it.
-
Same here.. I've never heard of pelvic exams for sports physicals...
-
Yeah, I'm pretyt sure the schools are afraid of STD's and whatnot. I remember a long ago (I believe 1996 or something) where a bunch of 6th grade girls were required to have internal exams and it put the parents in quite an uproar. Forgot where that was.As to the paretns thing, that's the problem. Her grandmother and Aunt are looking to become her guardians. Won't that give them access to the same information her mother would normally receive (Such as the results of a physical?)

Virginity or lack thereof is not something they can tell or test.Well, they can kinda tell if you are a virgin, but if the hymen is broken, they can't tell what broke it. Was it a penis, fingers, dildo.. a hairbrush handle? How do you know?

She'll lie if she has to, but she'd really rather not.

it's non of their business.

Why should they ask that?

Again, her theory is simply that they're just checking for STD's. I think they're being invasive little pricks but that's just me :P

I agree with you!

How old is she? Patient confidentiality certainly comes into play.
