So i have heard of micropenis, and i was wondering is there a similar condition for girth? Obviously if your penis is 1-3 inches in length it should be a concern, but at which point should it become a concern for girth? (Avg being 4.75-5.0) 4.0 inches, 3.5, 3.0, etc etc? At what point should you go to a urologist?
At what point should it become a concern?
Im not worried about my self
I was just asking out of curiosity, hehe.
I meant when it should be a concern medically. Like for instance if someone had a 3 inch girth should they be medically concerned and get it checked out? I didnt mean concern as in "I dont like my girth i wonder if i can enlarge it"
Yeah i understand what your saying, about the development thing! Thanks for the info!
Micropenis is usually defined in terms of length. The most generous definition suggests it is a micropenis if smaller than 2½ standard deviations below the mean (perhaps somewhere around 3½ inches?). However another definition requires no more than 2 inches length.
If we apply the 2½ standard deviations to girth we might perhaps get a girth of around 3½ inches. But there's no specific name for such a condition, and no evidence that it would cause any impairment to normal functioning. (Medical science is not concerned with whether you can win prizes, but whether you can function reasonably normally.)
In any case there's not a lot that can be done about micropenis past puberty.
