So far so good. My first week of College is over and im loving it. Im currently only taking 10 credits and im still in between majors. This first week of College has been better than my four years of high school thats for sure. I love the freedom, the classes later in the day, the campus, teachers, everything its great.
The thing i hate is scrambling for parking. I live 5 minutes away from my College but need to leave 40 minutes early to get parking. We have tons of parking lots and 2 parking garages and yet people are always in a scramble to grab a spot.
So far though so good, just been going to class, hanging out with my girlfriend on campus when i can, and doing homework in the library. Im really set on doing good in the rest of my academic career. I should still be in highschool because i failed a year of school credit wise (half of soph year and half of junior year), and never gave a shit about school. But i the 2nd half of my Junior year i went on Independent Studies and worked my ass off and actually graduated 3 weeks early.
Im really set on making it in life and doing good at everything i try. I finished my Junior and Senior years in highschool with all A's and B's and so far in College im on track. I dont let myself get distracted and i do my work right away, and im always focused in class.
Im now trying to decide whether to major in Radiology or Psychology, for now im just taking "general ed" and Psych 1 until i decide.
Well i just thought i would share that just because it makes me feel good, and right now with all the issues with my life, financially, stress wise, relationship wise, and my mothers health, i really need something to cheer me up, and right now school is that source of happiness.
