Last night I had two of the CRAZIEST dreams. They were horrible.. and gory and all about death. Two seperate dreams.. sooo disgusting and gross. It was horrifying. Terrible. I woke up at 3:30 terrified.. sweaty..I had to turn all my lights on and watch tv for awhile to try to refocus my mind. What do dreams like this mean???

Horrible dreams

I don't think they necessarily mean anything. Perhaps something (the Large Hadron Collider? September 11?) put the idea of death in your mind.

I dont think it was that. I didnt even realize it was 9/11 until the morning

Women are more prone to nightmares than men, I was just reading on bbc website yesterday.

Actually you'd be surprised at what your subconcious could pick up on... it's entirely possible that it was something as simple as picking up on the experiments of the LHC, or 9/11 ... most dreams/nightmares can be simply explained if you go over carefully what you have done the previous day (as they will generally involve things you have done recently which have not yet been properly assimilated into long term memory)... also, nightmares are caused by needing to go to the loo, or if you're in pain (eg: if you're lay funny and it hurts) they're a defence mechanism designed to wake you up, I know that's not really gonna help you feel better, but at least you can put them out of your mind better (or at least I can) by working out what has caused them, and that it's not some deathly premonition of the end of all life as we know it!!Also, if you die in your dreams, I sorely doubt you can in real life, as I've died in a few of my dreams, and unless I'm the ghost writer (sounds like a new crappy film we could make? lol) then, I think we're good!!

Man, wouldn't that be a stellar idea for a horror movie/book. A guy, or in this case a girl, keeps having dreams in which she dies and she says "well, see I'm still alive" but she is in fact dead but doesn't know it. Maybe it could be the film that gives M. Night Shyamalan his credibility back!Oh yeah...Starring Stephanie!

Actually that link was fairly helpful.this: "But it could be that disturbed sleep is contributing to the fears." is soo true. One of my dreams involved someone coming into my house at night and murdering me and my family. Which is one of my fears (weird I know). Im very very paranoid about being home by myself and an intruder coming in. Ive always been scared.. but moving to the country definetly didnt help.

wouldnt that be great. Id love to be in it.A couple weeks ago I had a really random dream.. now that I think of it, it's kinda funny. the beginning I don't remember but i remember it was pretty scary.. then all of a sudden I was at a filming of the young and the restless .. and it was being filmed at my grandma's farm. Then all of a sudden it turned into a war and I hopped into my civic and booted it out of the driveway and when I looked in my rearview mirror some dude was shooting a rocket launcher at me and I sped up and turned out of the way JUST in the nick of time. It was like something from a vin diesel movie. haha.. anyways.. the rocket launcher hit the emu farm across the street. Thats all I remember

Damn, crazy dream. I have dreams of Venezuela almost every night, even though I moved from there at five and have not lived there in 30 years. Weird, huh?
