Yesterday was the last day of my period, and my boyfriend and I had unprotected vaginal intercourse. When he ejaculated inside of me, it burned really really bad. I didnt say anything because I was kinda nervous, so when I went pee- that burned also. I had too pee less than ten minutes later, which still burned. I asked him about it, he says he didnt notice any discomfort when ejaculating and he assumes that I have something. I have had unprotected sex with another guy over two months ago. Since then I've been tested, and things were fine. I'm trying to come to some kind of conclusion as to why this burning would occur, so after asking where he was earlier that night, he told me he was at the bar with a few friends and he'd had a lot to drink. He said sometimes, when he drinks too much caffine he has a burning sensation when urinating. So I brushed it off, and went to sleep. This morning when I woke up I went pee as usual and there was no discomfort, or burning.I guess my question is does the amount of alcohol intake effect a guy when he ejaculates? please help!!

Sure it effects things...but nothing that would cause you to have a burning sensation when urinating. Could very well be that he made your inner lips a little raw, and urin is a little on the acidic side of things...which, combined, would cause the burning when you urinate. Since the symptoms are gone, I would worry about it...but mention it next time you see your gyno.

Welcome to A2A, mimo.Since when you drink there is alcohol in your bloodstream, I would expect (as it gets around easily) it would be in the semen too. There wouldn't be a lot, though - the concentrations in the blood are quite low, so it would only make a difference, I think, if you were allergic to alcohol.Usually a burning sensation there is due to an infection: a urinary tract infection (usually bacteria) or a vaginal infection (usually yeast, sometimes bacteria). A burning sensation on peeing can also occur if the urine is too concentrated or too acidic or alkaline, but I wouldn't have expected that to cause a burning effect on ejaculation.

HiIts called 'honeymoon cystitis' Its a Lower urinary tract (LUT) symptoms in women are very common after sexual intercourse. Cystitis means inflammation of the bladder and it is usually, but not invariably due to infection. Bacteria are often pushed mechanically up the urethra and into the bladder during coitus. The male urethra, being substantially longer, is not susceptible to the same problem. The term 'honeymoon' was applied because, in the past, this was expected to be the time of first intercourse. Of course, the condition of post-coital female lower urinary tract infection occurs at many times beyond the traditional 'honeymoon' - from the onset of sexual activity into old age.You wil need to go the doctor and get an antibiotic cos it still there.

I agree. I'm one of the unfortunate ones that has honeymoon cystitis to the point of the doctors wanting to put a camera into my bladder, so evidently I'm now a bit of a nerd on the subject. Sometimes when going to the doctors after an attack, it still showed up that I had an infection with all sorts of crap floating around in my pee even though I felt fine. If it's happened once, it's likely to happen again so I would definitely go to the doctor about this while it's not ruining your life. As I'm sure you're aware, a cystitis attack is very debilitating and you can't always leave the toilet long enough to reach the doctors. Especially if the infection hasn't completely gone and you have intercourse again (or not, sometimes it just comes out of nowhere), it's likely to get worse and you may start to notice a bit of blood when you pee and that's when the pain gets so bad that you can't get out of the foetal position. Don't even get me started on when you begin to pass chunks of urethra. Have I scared you enough to go to the doctors yet?? Trust me, while you feel fine, go. You don't want this kind of pain 24/7.In the meantime, here's a few things that will help:1) Drink cranberry juice. It helps SO much. I was literally hooked on the stuff when my bladder was at it's worst. Now I just drink a glass in the morning to prevent it. It's surprisingly effective.2) Make sure you're peeing as soon as you feel the need to go and go to the loo before and immediately after sex to flush out any bacteria that might have entered your urethra.3)If you get another attack, you might want to take some paracetamol or ibuprofen to help that horrible, heavy, achy feeling in your bladder.4) Also, a rather obvious point to make, be sure you're wiping from front to back or you're just asking for trouble.Hope things don't get any worse for you! Good luck at the doctors

Omg! No, it wasnt any of that... I think I have chlamydia My boyfriend was tested and his results came back positive for chlamydia. The doctor told him that its something that he couldve contracted a long time ago and just never had the symptoms. So he thinks he gave it to me. So, I went to the clinic to be tested. I recieved treatment even though my test results havent come back yet. If I am in fact the one who gave it to my boyfriend, I know exactly who I got it from- bc I've only had unprotected sex with one other person- and that was the guy I cheated on my boyfriend with. I'm not so sure that I should question that person. He's really immature, and I know he'll turn it around and make it seem like he got it from me. I want to ask him about it, or at least tell him to get treated... but I'm afraid and really ashamed. Im almost positive he'll go around saying i burned him. Am I wrong to not say anything? Plus he has a girlfriend. He had a girlfriend during the time we had sex, so she may have it as well... What should I do?
-
You should tell him and his girlfriend, for the sake of his girlfriend. If not properly treated chlamydia can cause women to become infertile. Ignore what he says - he could just as easily have given it to you.

it's perfectly normal. it's more on the acidity level of the urine. it doesnt have to do with how hot the semen was. relax, stay cool and of course, next time safer sex.

3 posts and so far 2 of them are to dead threads...does noone ever actually read the dates before they press reply?
-
Welcome to A2A, kyle82. You may not be able to see the dates on posts. To see them, go to My Stuff, My Preferences, and near the bottom of the page there is a question about time format. Choose one and click the Submit button, even if it's the one already shown, and dates should then appear on all posts.
