You can't tone your body up in 2-3 weeks.I mean I know this is true when you're 20-30 pounds over weight. However if you're already a healthy weight it's not that hard.I dunno I mean maybe people assumed toned means ripped when you go down to 3-4% body fat. but I've seen in yahoo questions people say no it's not possible! and that's just not true.Anyways to add a question, how hurtful are junk foods.Like say it should take you a month to finish getting your body where you want it. (I know it can't be exacted but bare with me)but say you started drinking a soda or eating a bag of chips (150 calorie bag not the full bags of chips thats 1200 calories)would that actually slow down your progress very much or would it take a much larger amount to really effect you. This isn't really an issue with me anymore as I got my body fairly nice but it's something I've wondered

Why do people assume

3,500 calories are in 1 pound of human fat. that means that if you add 150 calories (one bag) to your diet per day and change nothing else that would slow down your fat loss or increase your gain by 1/23rd of a pound of fat per day or .04 pounds of fat. this is the calories in 1 pound of fat divided by calories in 1 bag of chips (which for your information finds out how many bags of chips make up 1 pound of fat) then you divide 1 by that number to find out how much of a pound that number is.
if nothing changed that would be adding 15 pounds of weight a year. conversely if you burn an extra 150 calories a day (and change nothing else) you would loose .043 pounds a day or 15 pounds a year.
i think... >.> this is what i remember from nutrition class.
if you started eating three extra bags of chips and two extra 20oz cokes a day totaling 950 calories, you would gain about 1/4 of a pound per day o.O, and the same goes for if you took those things out of your diet but vice versa.
as you can see, a little junk food isn't really that bad, but even a medium amount added to your diet can make you gain weight pretty fast and a large amount... well... yeah
its really not too hard to lose weight, especially if you eat a lot of junk food, just apply the formula
3,500 divided by _X_calories, then divide 1 by that number
and figure out how many pounds a day you would loose if you cut out the junk food you eat, or even half of it, nutrition labels make it easy.

Uhm this whole 3, 500 calories in 1 pound of human fat thing isn't very accurate because bodies act very differently. I can take in 3500 calories a week above my output but I still won't gain a pound because our metabolisms and digestive tracks act very differently.
For this reason to answer your question it is really hard to tell as I don't know your body as well as you do, but I guess it would hinder your progress the question is rather how much, it could be extremely miniscule or it could be more depending on your body.
Also I'm not sure what you meaned by toned, but generally you don't actually SEE progress that quickly. 2 - 3 weeks is NOT a very long time.

true, bodies do act differently according to different metabolisms, but if you are maintaining the same weight then your simply burning the same amount of calories as you are taking in, that means that if you naturally burn 2000 cal a day without doing anything, then add 150 calories to that diet without increasing your exercise, then you don't burn that 150 calories. if you burn more than you intake you loose weight, if you take in more than you burn (due to metabolism, exercise or what have you) you gain weight.if you were saying a pound of fat dosn't contain 3,500 cal, thats not true, all human fat contains the same amount of calories per weight, its just the chemical make up of human fat.

thats a misconception, sorry to bring this thread up again, but you will never maintain exactly the same output or input, and your metabolism is ALWAYS changing.
