ok, so my boyfriend and i have just recently started trying anal sex. when we first start out i still have alot of discomfort because of the stretching but after a few minutes it stops feeling so tight, but after a few minutes it starts buring alot like a acidic bowel movement. i was woundering if there was a reason for the acid like feeling and if their is a way to prevent it. also another concern of mine is a prolapsed bowel. i'v watched a few porns where they have anal, and often times their rectums seem to come detached after anal. i really would like to avoid this happening to me. when we have anal, it is gently and only from time to time...am i at risk for a prolaped rectum? is anal realy this dangerious or am i just being paraniod?thanks ~ Isis

Is there some way to prevent this

First off, good on you for being open minded enough to try!!You're bound to have discomfort the first few times with this, but it sounds to me like you're not using either enough lubricant, or maybe you're using a minty one or something like that? Basically though: you need a flavourless lube, and a whole lot of it, no seriously, more than that, much more!!!!Also, to answer your concerns, I shall link you to the Wikepedia reference for anal sex/prolapse:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anal_sex#Physical_damageThis should answer your question Enjoy yourself, and remember; stay safe!

thanks, yeah we do use lube...maybe we just need to re-apply after it starts to burn....i guess it just kinda threw me off, because with vaginal sex dryness has a completly different sensation. we use a sensitive lube and untextured condoms. so in general im pretty safe from a prolapsed rectum / incontinence as long as we use alot of lube and make sure to be gentle?

Extreme forms of rough anal sex can result in anal prolapese but using lots of lube and being gentle will probably mean you will be just fine.
