I know what girls like and buying gifts for them is easy but I dont know much about buying gifts for guys.I wanna give a present to my boyfriend and I dont know what to do ....I bake cakes, cookies and even make chocolates at home but he hates sweets, so I cant give him any of those. I thought of knitting him a sweater but thats gonna take a lot of time, if I start now I maybe able to finish it in 6 months or so. I am out of cash after a stupid shopping spree with my mom, after paying all the bills my savings are way low to buy a decent gift. I bought him a wrist watch and a cologne before so I dont wanna buy those again. What should I get him? Its a b'day present I wanna give him.Any ideas?

What should I get?

tell me a bit about him. What does he like? I could buy my boyfriend tickets to a leaf game.. and ur boyfriend could hate that... but mine would love it.
-
He wont go out to movies/games/concerts cos he is currently very busy with his work and I dont wanna interfere right now.I wanna give him something that will reflect my love for him something romantic.

what kind of things does he like?? I made my boyfriend a coupon book. I can email it to u if u want:P its pretty good. He loved it when I bought him a Mike jordan and Ray allen jersey. What kind of things does he like? Whats he into?

:frowning: He never tells me what he likes....he is the type of guy who wakes up goes to work, chats with few friends, comes back home for dinner then goes straight to bed....Zzzzzzzz.....
I only know he likes cricket, doesnt play it anymore :frowning: though, likes tasty food, likes watching other girls :eyes: on the beach.......likes chatting a lot with his friends 24/7 and going on holidays esp to beaches
He is always in the "I am working"--mode......I say anything and I get an earful of his problems at work

You should get him a subscription to playboy (if he lives on his own) ahahah.. I told Josh I was going to get him that for Christmas and he loved the idea.. except he lives with his parents.
-
lol......my bf also lives with his parents.

You could do something similar to what I'm doing for my girlfriend, get some kind of box or container that's really nice (in my case, a jewellery box) and put some little token things in it. I've not got much in it so far, but little things that remind you of him are good. Since he's a work-a-holic, get him a little notebook to go in it, and write something sweet on the inside Best.
-
That sounds nice. I can make the box myself, I am good at crafts
I wanna see what other posters will recommend and decide later. And I am putting your idea on my list.

Your boyfriend sounds like my ex. He worked 7 days a week and I always had to fight for some time with him because if he wasn't working, he was sleeping or watching TV. For his birthday I bought him a case of his favorite beer, gave him a shoulder/back massage when he got off work, did a little strip tease and ya know where that went lol If you're broke (like I am all the time), you've just got to be creative.
