Hi, I'm new to the forums. I wanted to ask this here, because I didn't know where else to get reliable advice....I'm 21, currently a virgin, and have been masturbating since I was about 10. The problem I'm experiencing is that my penis, when it's erect, curves noticeably to the left and upwards slightly instead of straight out. It's been like this for a number of years now, but the bend seems to be getting more pronounced as the years go by. I'm not sure what's causing this, but I have a couple theories.... First off, I have a feeling as though years of masturbating with my right hand and pointing the head slightly off to the left side might have had something to do with it. Also, I usually fall asleep lying on my side and wake up on my stomach, so my morning wood is kind of pinned underneath me, and you can probably guess which direction it's pinned down. What I've been wondering is if there's any way I can reverse this or at least minimize the angle of the curve. There's no medical problem associated with this that I'm aware of, but I don't particularly like the way it looks. It's even caused me to not look forward to the day when my girlfriend and I begin to get really serious, for obvious reasons.Any ideas? Surgery is out of the question, I'll say that right now. I've seen websites online advertising devices that claim to be able to fix curvatures in the penis, but the downside is that all the ones I've seen that look somewhat reliable cost over $300. I'm a starving college student right now, so that kind of expense is out of my budget. I'll consider it as a last resort, but if there's anyway I can fix this problem myself without spending a lot of cash, I would really love to know about it.Thanks for your time everyone.

Straighten a Curved Penis?
-
There is nothing wrong with you penis that needs correcting. Most penises are not straight; most have a curvature to them. So truthfully a curved penis seems to be the majority not the minority.
-
Like Eddie said it's normal. Only in the most sever cases is any medical remedy recommended. Curves are otherwise normal it's what make us unique. Beside different curves can often help out in love making. Depending on the direction of the curve you may be able to reach certain spots easier that push her over the edge or make her feel more full cause the bend makes the girth more pronounced when inside her.For myself I curve down. It looks like I never have anything more than a semi but it's great for hitting the g-spot from behind. It works fine and I'm fine with it and my lady loves it.

The part of Ohdin's post that is a concern to me is not that he has a curvature. I agree that it's pretty normal and may, in fact, even be a plus. However his comment that the curvature is increasing may indicate a problem. Peyronies?
-
It can also just be his perception. Often times when you are concern or worried about something it appears to get worse when in fact it hasn't changed at all.
-
Ohdin describes it as a noticeable curve, which suggests only a slight one. Peyronies results in a severe curve.Over 50% of penises are noticeably curved, and upward and leftward curves are the most common.Welcome to A2A, Ohdin.
-
Dont worry about it.More people have curved penis's than you realize. Its not a big deal.
-
Ok my problem is that penis stays fallen rightwards from its base. Is that ok ?
-
Yes, what they call a 'lateral angle' - that is, a sideways angle - is quite common.
-
A curved penis is said to actually be an advantage, since it's easier to stimulate the female g-spot during sex.
-
Ok so I kind of have a similiar issue with my penis as well. When it becomes fully erected it goes straight about half way and curves downwards. However the entire penis is still pretty hard. Now I am not sure if it is a problem or not but on the top half of my penis on the end that goes straight out just before it bends downwards there appears to be like a large vein thats noticable. Should I have any concern? Or does it sound like my curviture is ok and I have nothing to worry about? Your thoughts?
-
Welcome to A2A, Rthreshold. I doubt that the vein is any problem, since noticeable veins are normal on penises. The curvature would only be a problem if it's extreme enough to cause difficulty with sex.
-
Sounds normal to me.

Alright thanks for the help!

from what ive read, no one has given him a straight answer...firstly, there are ways, penis techniques exercises that u can do that will help with straightening. jelqing, holds, bends, etc.there are also different things u can do in your life daily to help straighten it, i had an up left curve as well, and i hated it... it was curved on my shaft, but the base.simply put, point ur penis in the opposite direction, if its up left, like mine and urs is, when doing day to day things, point it down right.when you sleep do the same. note boxer briefs are easier to do this with than any other.these things dont guarentee dramatic results, but they do help slightly, and if done over time, can help correct ur issues...but ultimately, accept what u are, i hated my up left thing, and it wasnt bad, but my dick still curves up... use it to your advantage.left pointing penis's work great if the girl is laying on her right, and ur penetrating her, right points its opposite, with girl on her left. upward curves, best with missionary, downward, doggy u lucky bastardsbut yea, i hope i helped u out.

I think many people in this thread gave him the most important answer... there is nothing wrong with the way it is and most penis have a curvatures to them. And sorry to say but your "correction" techniques sound ridiculous, and I mean that as nice as possible. If what you say is so true, my penis would be in a completely different direction. LoL...
-
"firstly, there are ways, penis techniques exercises that u can do that will help with straightening. jelqing, holds, bends, etc." That shit is just plain dangerous. No one should ever risk causing injury to the joy stick. It's just not worth it any way shape or form. As long as if functions correctly enjoy it.

im not saying that necessarily if you do them, that its gonna curve the other way, but it does help slightly, i mean its obvious... if u keep ur dick to the left all the time, and u have a left curve, its just going to assist in your left curvature. but im not a doctor, i dont claim to be, and these techniques did work on me, they are dangerous, they are not from any REAL CREDIBLE sources.but when ur like seriously in need of change, you'll take whatever measures necessary.and they are less dangerous if u take precautions. etc. if he wants to try them, ask his doctor, or look around online for information.

Quote:if u keep ur dick to the left all the time, and u have a left curve, its just going to assist in your left curvature Ugh.. okay where is your source? I'd like to see a little facts. My penis, when wearing briefs (which I wear 5-6 times a week because of work), is often laying to the right and my penis has absolutely no curvature to it. I'm the minoroty that I have a straight penis.Again your techniques are ridiculous and as Scotty said dangerous. People just need to accept that all penis are different, and if anything having some sort of curvature seems to be the majority. Only time to be concerned about a curvature is in extreme cases as described in an earlier post.I say this politely and I know it's been said to you before, you really need to think before you post because this is not the first time you have posted ridiculous and even dangerous information. There are real people who read these boards, many of them younger kids... do you want to be responsible for a kid damaging his penis because of your ridiculous comments?? Think about it.
