Hi,Over the past few years I have occasionally checked these forums for many of the questions that I needed answers to. First of all I would like to say thanks to everyone that has put in their own time and effort to help all the people that have questions that they may be worried about. Having a website like this is great for those people that don't feel comfortable talking to parents, etc. about their concerns.Okay, now thats out of the way. I used to have trouble retracting my foreskin due to an incident when I was younger that scared me out of doing it. I finally decided I needed to do something about it when I found these forums. After reading the all the suggestions, etc. on what to do, over the next few months I managed to get my foreskin over the head. The next thing for me was to get it over the head while erect. So, like before I kept at it and I am now able to retract flaccid/erect.But, there is a reason I'm posting here. I am able to retract the foreskin over my head when im erect, but it only goes as far as the base of the head.(It will stay there without going back over the head) Should I just keep practicing my stretching while erect so that I am able to retract further down the shaft? Or is this okay. This is to do with my frenulum length, right? I want to know because I am getting to the point where I might start having sexual relations, etc. Thankyou for any help on this,~questionable

Retraction Question

Welcome to A2A posting, questionable. It's always good to hear from readers who have found the site useful.Being able to retract back to the base of the head, so the head is clear, is fine.

The foreskin should be loose enough so that it will move back and forth during intercourse, which action helps preserve vaginal moisture. Natural vaginal lubricants tend to evaporate on the outstroke, when the penis is circumcised, or when the foreskin always remains retracted.Ideally, the vaginal sphincter should retract the foreskin upon entry, then pull the foreskin back over the glans on the outstroke. If your frenum is too short to facilitate free movement, you should "stretch" it, too. The exercise is simple. With your fingers, pull gently but firmly outward on the underside of your foreskin. Hold that stretch for up to five minutes. Do this exercise at least twice every day. Here's a photo demonstrating the procedure. http://www.foreskin.org/46-33-04.jpg.If you need to increase the diameter of your foreskin, pull out, top and bottom, inserting a finger or two if you can, as though you are opening a sack. Again, hold the stretch for up to five minutes, twice a day.
