It means your chances are better, but not completely gone. You'll still have to take pregnancy tests later on to be sure. It's probably too late for Plan B but that's an option too.How on earth do you forget about bc that many days in a row? If anything I'd think that your bf having sex with you would kind of remind you.To women, if you're not responsible enough to make sure you're taking your pill you shouldn't be having unprotected sex. Save it for when you're more focused.

My feeling is that if you have had your period, and it was a proper period and not just spotting, you can assume you are not pregnant. It's true that sometimes there is enough bleeding in pregnancy to look like a period, but this isn't common. A proper period is impossible in pregnancy. For the future, perhaps it would help to set something up to help you remember. Perhaps a calendar on which you cross out the days after you take the pill?

Ba-zing.I second on that and what rune-san said. But I also have a suggestion. If you have a digital watch or a cell phone, set up an alarm, so that way you can remember when to take your pill.

I have extremely strong feelings on accidental pregnancies that could have been avoided very easily. If a pill fails to work, or a condom splits, then there's nothing you can do about that and you have to make the best of the situation. But when you're on drugs, haven't even considered contraception, and then have unprotected sex, then any consideration of the future has been thrown out of the window.I know a "couple" that have had THREE children by the time they're 21. They did not want the children, and now they claim that their "lives have been ruined" by having so many children so young. They still go out and party a lot of the time, ditching the kids on friends and family while they go off and get drunk/high. How is that good parenting? And how did these kids come about? The guy "doesn't like condoms, so doesn't wear them". Again, she was on the pill...but forgot to take them for a few days.So now they live in a 2-bedroom council house that is literally falling apart. He has to work 60-hour weeks to support his kids, and when he's not working he's off getting drunk.Actions have consequences, and if they can be avoided, then I think they should be.I'm sorry for the rant, and I'm sorry that I was 'unwelcoming', but I have had a lot of exposure to things like this and I strongly disagree with it.
