Scabies bites on Penis
-
well, can't say i've heard of these before, better than scarabs though, yeah? haha.....owwwwww........umm, they make stuff for insect bites, like mosquitos, that helps to keep them from itching and go down faster. maybe you could try that? provided it can be used down there...Welcome, by the way
-
It's very interesting that they were scabies. It's an unusual place - they usually go for the groin. And they usually itch horribly at night.Since scabies is a mite, the important thing is to kill the mite, so it's treated with insecticide. Once killed, the burrow that it has made usually heals quickly. You'll probably have been prescribed an insecticide, but some insect repellents work well also.
-
but wouldn't deet & alcohol + groin area = really bad pain? as for the repellents, anyway? haha, Firefox says deet isn't a word...silly dictionary...
-
DEET is usually considered to be an abbreviation for N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide, though the second E is hard to explain. I don't know what effect DEET would have on scabies mites - I was thinking more along the lines of those repellents that include pyrethroids.
-
even so, it should be a word...now im sad... you are such a wealth of information! you're like an encyclopedia!besides, i was just wondering, most repellents i've seen have more deet than anything. or should it be det then?
-
actually scabies is known for biting that glans of The Penis I found pics of it that look EXACTLY like what I had

Sorry my typing mistake.......its DEMT above not DMET........and I turned up late to edit it :frowning:

guys I am scared what if what I have is Genital WArts I had the bumps examined by an STD Clinic and He said it didn't looked like an STD, am I just being paranoid, I have looked at pictures and my bumps dont look like Genital Warts
-
you said you had scabies.....If the site where these mites are burrowed is scratched or rubbed, its possible it would get infected by bacteria, look swollen like a bump. You should see a doc about this. Try applying some antibiotic cream and see if it helps.
-
Ok I went to The CLinic and The Doctor said it DOES NOT look like Genital Warts and DOES NOT look like Genital Herpes and said it DEFINATELY look like Scabies Bites and I should hav edone 2 applications of The Cream
-
Hope you take your prescribed meds on time and get well soon
-
Guys I'm scared what if They dont go away
-
They will go away.......make sure you use some thing to get rid of the mites (oral or topical) and apply antibiotic cream on the bumps. With right meds I think it will go away in 2-4weeks time.
-
Thank You I hope they go away

Interesting and rather scary. I note that in that example they treated the whole body below the neck.

Not usually, no. It has a good blood supply and usually heals well.
