Yeah, I know that. The DVD has a Rowan Atkinson biography and shows some of that show, as well as some of his other work. I first saw Mr. Bean on PBS, but as far as I know, Black Adder isn't televised anywhere in the U.S.

Mr. Bean

Hi Sephiroth!!
One of the great things about living in Canada - is that 'we' get to see both American AND British TV shows. Some of my favourite British comedies include.....
[in no particular order of funny-ness!!]
- On The Buses
- Monty Python's Flying Circus
- Fawlty Tower's
- Mr. Bean
- Black Adder
- The Two Ronnies
- Gimme Gimme Gimme
- Some mother do have 'em
- Doctor in the House
- Are you being Served?
- Man about the House
- George and Mildred
- The Office
- The Royale Family
- Absolutely Fabulous
- Waiting for God
- Keeping up Appearances
- No Honestly
- Father Ted
- Rising Damp
- The Good Life
- The Benny Hill Show
- French and Saunder's
- Smith and Jones [I think that's what it's called]
[among a few other that I can't remember]
GREAT BIG HUG
Craig!! -
Does ANYONE here watch Jeeves and Wooster?! It's very intillectual, so it's a bit difficult ot follow, but it is hysterical!!
-
In reply to: but as far as I know, Black Adder isn't televised anywhere in the U.S. i've seen Black Adder on some kind of pbs station here in the states
-
I'm a big fan of the Red Green show, a Canadian program. I think Pat McKenna is one of the funniest people on the planet.I suppose I could get the BBC on my cable, but I'd have to pay extra for it. The only British shows I get to see are on PBS. Mr. Bean was only on a few times (including the animated series, which I didn't care much for), Red Drawf, and Chef. I haven't watched too many of them.
-
I remember a Thanksgiving episode of Friends where Matt LeBlanc got the turkey stuck on his head and everyone thought it was so funny, when in reality, that wasn't original because Mr. Bean did that big several years earlier. If you haven't had the chance to see all 14 episodes, go get the 3-DVD set. It's definitely worth it!
-
I know this is off topic, but does anyone here like Dave Chappelle
-
Well, it is a comedy show, so it is kind of on topic.....well, I've never watched it, but I haven't heard anything but good news about it. It seems funny, I think I'll go to my cousin's and wach it sometime.
