I'm kind of annoyed. No... I'm VERY annoyed. Because I am the only human being doing something for my mother aka WONDER WOMAN for Mother's Day. Everyone else sucks booty. I'm letting my sister off the hook because she's all the way in Brooklyn and she's having tough times financially... RECESSION. And my "do-nothing" stepdad is still somehow working 15 hours a day and is STILL broke. What the heck my dudes, I feed your 11 year old child more than you do.Anyway, I am a bit excited for Mother's Day. I've been working overtime at my job for the past couple of weeks to save up for this and I've had to push myself even further because of the fact no one else is doing anything... JACKBUTTS! I mean I usually work to help her pay the bills (phone, electricity, water, food) etc. But I mean... there's only so much you can do. So working overtime is necessary and plus I really wanted to do something special for her because she deserves with all the things she's been doing this week.So what I have planned is on Tuesday I'm treating her to a massage at a friend of mine who is a therapist from Poland lol. Then on Sunday when we're back from D.C. after church I'm taking her and my godmother to this really really nice restaurant called The Melting Pot and then I'm taking her to see XMEN Origins: Wolverine and then Star Trek in IMAX. BOKU MONEY! But I mean... they're worth it.Do you guys have anything planned?

Mother's Day... only 18 years young!

With that sort of example, now I'd better plan at least something.

sounds like you have a cool mum to do those things with. My mum has asked us to do gardening. ok yes that might not seem like much but she wants a working bee weekend and we have a huge beyond huge garden. So we love her and am going to do it

I have nothing planned.

My mom has early-onset Alzheimers and is in a family home-care situation with 5 other elderly women. She also had a broken hip and is in a wheelchair, so can't walk anymore. We'll visit with a card and flowers and spend some time with her, but that's about the scope of it. Glad to see you are appreciating your mother while you still can do something nice for her.
