I have 14 days off work. 24th through july 8th!I live down south but my family is originally from up north. Very up north! Great lakes/Canadian border up north. Me and a cousin are driving 1250 miles (oneway) up there to go fishing with my grandpa and uncle! The majority of my family is still up there and I rarely see them, so it will be a great trip. We're fishing Lake superior. A couple local lakes, and some streams, and rivers. OMG! I can't wait! Super manly time with my family. It's going to be unbelievable. We have a 5th wheel camper, nothing fancy. No A/C or anything, just a toilet, microwave, shower, and beds. We're going to hook that up and bring the bass boat, and just drive around Wisconsin and go fishing. EVERYWHERE!I can't wait to upload daily photos on my facebook to rub all the great fish in my buddies faces!!!! HAHAHA. I'm as giddy as a little school girl about this trip. Southern waters down here are dirty, murky, and muddy. Not bad for fishing, but northern waters are a whole new game! SUPER FUN! Crystal clear, and great big fish. Plus the whole aspect of seeing my family, and getting awesome grandma cooked meals. The weather is perfect! The water is clear! Warm sun, with the cool breeze of the lake!!! OH man! good bye computer cubicle job 9-5, monkey job, and Hello Freedom! I'll try and remember you guys when I get back and link you some nice photos. 4 MORE DAYS!

That is beautiful country up there even without the family you're so looking forward to spending time with. I understand your euphoria. I'm jealous.

So True! I used to spend my summers up there as a kid. I haven't been up there in atleast 5-6 years. I can't wait. Even to just get out of this 100 degree heat down south.
