Soo, I really hate the word "bitch" unless it's being referred to an actual female dog. I just find it really degrading and extremely rude. I don't call other females a bitch and I don't like being called one. In fact, I NEVER call anyone a bitch. Here's the problem, I react to it in a unsubtle way. When I was 13 I heard my sister tell her friend I was a bitch and I cried for 3 hours and 46 minutes STRAIGHT.My boyfriend knows I hate the word and sometimes he'll slip up and say I'm acting like a bitch and then Tatiana (my violent "street" side) comes out and I tell him off. My cousin called me a bitch once and I slapped him so hard (spontaneously, I didn't even know I did it!) his face was red and purple for the rest of the day.Every time a guy says something like "ayo ma lemme get at that booty" or "I would tear that up" and I would either ignore them or say no thank you they say "you a bitch anyway".... at LEAST 6 times I've either slapped him, punched, or kicked. At least 6 times. Those are the times I counted.I'm not normally a violent person. I stopped being violent when I turned 15 and realized I was better than that. But it's like... whenever I hear that word it drives me up the wall. I don't understand why. I'm typically a nice person but why can't people say something else OTHER than that word? Guys get called jerks or dicks. I'd rather be called a jerk or a dick! Bitch is just... UGH.So I don't know. I'm too sensitive with that word. I don't know how to get over it.

"Bitch!"

Words are words.Try to...lol, forgive me..."You must control your temper!!" But really, just try not to let it get to you, or IMAGINE killing the person, or whatever it is you want to do, in your head, and just keep walking or moving on with your day.

Words have power. What do you think I've been doing? lol I HAVE been controlling my temper. I barely even have a "temper". I usually don't care what people say to or about me it's just that word that gets me like when people say the n word or the m word. Pisses me off to no end.I could never imagine killing someone good lord lol
-
I'm no stranger to the "words having power" theory. I know that well and good.Walk it off. Don't let it get to you. After the first couple years of elem. school, that's what I perfected doing with such things. Doesn't bother me to this day.

Quote:My boyfriend knows I hate the word and sometimes he'll slip up and say I'm acting like a bitch and then Tatiana (my violent "street" side) comes out and I tell him off. That's a huge NO NO in my rule book. I don't believe a loving boyfriend would ever call their girlfriend a bitch, slut, or another derogatory word. To me, it's a small flag of little respect. I hope that was the last and only time he's called you that. Don't put up with it!I'm think most people have a word they are sensitive to. I'm not sure if there's a way to "get over it". I can understand why you would hit someone if they called you that.

Yea it was the last time. I gave him a hard time for a while after that incident but... he knows.
I think it is my sensitive word. I don't mind being called anything else but that.
-
I know where you're coming from. Bitch isnt my sensitive word as I use it alot.. but generally in joking terms.. such as "You bitch!" jokingly. My friends last year often said "Hey Betch" lol. It was kinda funny.
-
Really?because when I want max offensiveness to any woman on the planet, I never say bitch.hey, CUNT, what the fuck is wrong with you?All talking stops and the tick of the clock says death will wait 5 seconds more.Cunt is the most offensive word to a woman that I have ever found, unless they are from Australia, they say cunt like I say ass.

haha man, I live in ghetto ass Mount Vernon, I don't think the people here even know what cunt means? Have they even heard it before? Doubt it.

So true!My mother takes pride in being called a bitch... but you call her a cunt and its all over. She attacked a neighbor before when he called her a cunt; she knocked the shit of him. The guys wife wouldn't even open the door to let him in because she was afraid my mother would go after her next LOL. But hey! The guy deserved it, not just becaused he called her a cunt but because they poisoned the puppies my sisters dog had killing three of them.

I know what you mean by the bitch thing caus I'm like that to I'm a nice kind and not violent at all actually more of an air head lol. Until I hear "God hates..." as soon as I hear that craze my body tenses up and I have actually almost lunged at my computer lol. Now about the rest of the posts all I've got to say isso true there are women outthere that take pride about being called a bitch but a cunt is a NONO. I've freinds that call me a scant (they call me that cause I clean ally so most of my close will have a little bleach stain on it some were lol) ,bitch, and slut but only jokingly.
-
Go ahead, call someone a cunt, I would bet my left nut you get a huge reaction, the word oozes offensiveness, even people who do not know what it means know its filthy.I love that word, its never broken its promise to me of a huge reaction.
-
Yea I know it will get a reaction but my parents always told me to be a gentleman so I hold doors open, open and shut car doors, and never call them a cunt or anything like that, but I have always done it for guys that I have had crushes on and all females. But that's just how I was raised.

Unfortunately that's one thing I don't think I'll ever accept.
-
What won't you except? The fact that I'm gay and I'm a Christian, or somthing else?
-
Naw, bro. She was saying that she won't accept the fact that, erm... the 'B' word, is often used kindly, etc...in reply to Rad.
-
ok
-
lol thank you luv!dang deek slow down!
-
I'm sorry :(. Somtimes I jumped at that because, ok I know it's weird but, whenever I read stuff my head fills in the emotion even if I don't know what the person really means and the well I just can't accept that or what ever you said, not to sound mean, my head filled it in with a very judgmental voice.
