I started going out with a this guy two months ago. We had been friends for a couple of months before hand and under the circumstances of us starting to go out I new he really liked me, in terms of he had a lot of respect for me. Now things seem to be changing. The last few weeks I have seen him once or twice a week for a couple of hours and we are talking less and less on the phone or via other communications. We were never suffercating each other and we both spoke about it in the beginning how important our individual lives were. Judging from his actions he seems ready to break up, but he also does other things contradicing this. He tells everyone we are going out, including just his own friends who I meet at my work and they know who I am, and I just think they are a customer. Everyone incluing my friends, his friends, his family and my family have told me how much they can tell he likes me. Am I being clingy for not seeing him more? I have approached him about it and he said he would improve but he hasnt made anymore effort since saying it.

Most relationships that start out with both sides besotted and constantly together settle down to something more sustainable that allows you to get some work done. The question is, I think, whether you feel comfortable with the way things are - it seems that you are not. If what you are comfortable with is different from what he is comfortable with, that could be a mismatch problem.
