So this jerk that I call my bf said something really stupid about...6 months ago that I still haven't let him live down. And he said a name that sparked my remembering and rekindled an anger that is still burning inside me and I really would like to decapitate him with a machete... sorry... but um. I just wanted your honest opinion that I need to use in an argument.Which girl sings better? Try and watch the whole thing because with singers they usually burn out towards the end IF they can really... sing. Yea this might sound childish I'm just a little irked at the moment. #1 - "This video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions."#2 - it's a music video... she's lip-syncing to the well produced, studio version of the song. How would one tell if she was falling off at the end when it's possible that she sang every line on a different day?The bigger issue is; why are you fighting about it? Originally Posted By: unsupervised Quote:So this jerk that I call my bf there is more here than just a disagreement about preferred pop-stars I think I know whats happened. Basically, her bf has been acting like a dick ever since he heard Abi mumbling in her sleep. I think she was saying something about really wanting some Irish hunk that she knows from the internet.

ugh.. darn Canada.I'm not sure... stop trying to ruin the moment for me, Mr. U!umm... it actually progressed into this because I was reminded of something he said to me a while back, couple months ago, about if we were married and Rihanna came to our door and told him to eff her he might have a hard time saying no. That pissed me the hell off and I still haven't lived it down. And he had the nerve to try and "defend" himself by saying "oh no it's cause she's such a good singer" and yada yada ya. Good singer my behind. I don't like comparing myself to other women and I already have "issues" and I pretty much just get on his case about it everytime he brings it up. It must be a girl thing... but it was a very assholish thing of him to say and even though it was 6 months ago it just still hasn't left me. Now he says "oh you know you're the only girl for me blah blah blah you're body is amazing blah blah blah you're drop dead gorgeous blah blah blah"fail.

Wait, this all because he said he'd ride a celebrity? Excuse me, I need to change my mindset to an American teenage girl from New York...Girl!! What you talkin' bout?! You is craaaaazy!! He ain't doin' no shit that you didn't dream about yo self!OK, I think I may have added a little too much Gary Coleman into that, but you get what I mean.
-
it's a silly argument.IF she comes to the door and IF she wants to fuck him, let him go.IF godzilla attacks newyork, I promise to to make sweet love to you before we die
-
lol. definetly overreacting and dragging it out wayyyy too long.

My issue is with marriage. I've always had a thing against it. My family has a history of cheating and divorce. Having to deal with it in my own parents has made me a little more than bitter towards "certain" people. He and I used to get into arguments all the time about him wanting to get married to me and me saying no marriage is not my things it's for losers yada yada ya. Long story short. We were having a discussion about me being more open to him and trusting him and whatever. He has a bad habit of drinking. We've had spats about the things he's said to me when he was drunk. (He's said some cruel things that have made me cry in a way my own mama can't make me cry.) He just happened to say that at the wrong time to the wrong person. And he was dead serious. Like... "you look good and all... but she is insert graphic details" My main reasons for not liking to be in a relationship is because I feel when you're in one you make yourself vulnerable to other people and you allow them access to your deepest darkest places and give them knowledge of what makes you and what breaks you. Before him I was a rowdy, obnoxious, but independent girl that wasn't bothered by what people say because they don't know me.But it's different with him, I allowed him that access and I feel like he's abused it too many times. Usually when he's drunk he doesn't just insult me but he hits low. Real low. I feel like sometimes I let him get away with too much that I would normally punch a guy in the face for saying IF he were that "close" to me. The Rihanna comment wasn't insulting because he said he would sleep with her. It was insulting because he mentioned us being married and that he would straight up cheat on me right after we had JUST talked about how I'm reluctant to get married because my biggest fear is being cheated on and wanting a divorce. But you know... whatever. Not many people understand. It's all good. It's hard to get inside my head sometimes. And bob you did that impression WAY too well.

I think your projecting to much of your own feelings on a few words your man said and thereby giving it way more importance than what it deserves or was ever meant to have. Here's a little something to remember, the vast majority of what men say generally doesn't have a whole hell of lot of meaning. It's just words coming out of their mouths. There's generally no calculations, no sub-text, no deeper meaning and a lot of the time no thought. I think women talk in sub-texts in order to communicate thoughts pondered over. I think men talk to progress along to the next event.

#1 Lose the jerk.#2 Rhianna is NOT a good singer.
