So I'm auditioning for a choreographer position but I have to make up a 1-minute piece to a song and I can't decide among the ones I've selected. Can you give me your opinions of what you like best or like... your top 3? PLEASE CHOOSE. Like seriously... take the time out and listen to at least a minute of each song cause I'm so friggin indecisive and it's driving me insane. I'm looking for a unique, upbeat, but not too crazy sound... yea... and I don't want to oversexualize but I don't wanna be like... yea.. you get me.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvLbZEiRBtAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKjSmUIP0HEUghhh skip the 30 second intro... madd annoying.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6coobo3nzQSkip this 25 second intro too... damn lolhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJVM21ER5S0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt4wqDmwZ2ASkip 16 second intro ah...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gsN3OLV7R4Please don't mind the video... it's the culture :Phttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzFkHq3abOMThanks so much guyssss

Need opinions badly (spare the time, u like me =p)

Beyonce or M.I.A.The latter because its got a great beat and its not really sexual (which is what you want.) And Beyonce's "Ego" because its very sexual and I wanna see you dance to it! And that Ne-Yo song, "Sexy Love", has to be the worst fucking song I've ever heard.
-
lol oh bob, I truly love you
thanks for that. -
My vote goes to Beyonce's Ego.. wait.. what exactly are they singing about in that song again? Something thats too strong, wont fit, too wide.. huh.. beats me..Anyways, does the song need to be in english? To help make you more frustrated in choosing I've selected songs that a professional choreographer told me are good choices (he works here on the campus but does professional choreography for several musicians apparently)In no particular order: Se7en - Crazy. I like this one myself. Pitbull - Calla Ocha (I Know You Want Me). Basic Benny beat. Leaves lots of room for transitions between the pieces. Nelly Futardo ft. Timbaland - Say It Right . Great sound and easy to transition dance steps between verse and hook. Mondotek - Alive. Designed around Tecktonik dance (originated in French night clubs). Might or might not work well for you. Mariah Carey - Bye Bye. Allows for slower dance steps than most other danceable tracks would. Koda Kumi ft. Mista Blistah - Candy. Like Ego it allows the track to be sexual or not. really up to you. Kid Sister ft. Kanye West - Pro Nails. Choreographer said there's lots of room for interpretation on that track. Juelz Santana - Oh Yes. Can take a male stance and go by beat, or a female stance and go by female vocals. Jagged Edge ft. Nelly - Where The Party At. Need anything really be said? Houston ft. Chingy, Nate Dogg, and I-20 - I Like That. Several places to take your 1 minute piece from. Christina Aguilera - Can't Hold Us Down. An easy pick. That was his and my recommendations. Of your choices I pick Ego Good Luck!

You could try using this song. No idea how you'd do it but I still love this band. Seen them twice at two Morrissey concerts over the last few months. Seeing them again in November here in Dublin.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxnnQa8DLxc

I agree I'm not sure how you'd dance to that but you certainly found me a new band to keep an eye on.Thanks alot bob

They're brilliant, and Doll is gorgeous. I was chatting to her before a concert in London.

No, I was lined up outside and I just happened to be at the stage entrance as they were coming in. I recognised them from a previous gig in Belfast so I started chatting with them. But anyway, I'm already quite familiar with a few celebs. cough cough Mad-Eye Moody cough cough

Well I had the gf with me at the time. I'm good but even I've got limits to what magic I can achieve!

my opinion, for what it's worth, is that you should dig deeper than pop music and find something a bit more unique.
