So I'm scottish/english/irish you know the whole deal. I'm pretty fair skinned, is it possible for me to tan? I mean I do tan over the summer somewhat but it goes by quite fast. Are there other fair skinned people out there with some kind of tips or success stories. I'm a guy so I don't care as much, I mean, I could go without being tanned, but its embarrasing being one of the whitest guy amongst my friends.

5 or 15 sun block will allow sun. just cus it;s sun block it still lets some sun get to you and your protected. ( a lot of people don't know how to use sun block correctly) 30 block will clog up your poors and make you sweat. Pasty people need some sun block so he / she want burn. You can get sun on a cloudy day. In order to have a tan you have to have sun… either from the sun or fake sun like from a tanning bed. I don’t know a lot about tanning beds. My sister uses one in the fall & winter but I don’t really know much on them. I do know they can burn you up just like the sun. No sunblock is needed but if you have no tan or very little tan you need to start with a low amount of time.. 10 mins… as you get darker you add on the mints. Point is - the lighter the skin the quicker it can get burnt. And yea a very tanned person can get a sunburn. I dk.. I hope maybe it helped. i dought it tho.

Yes, the lighter you are the more slowly you have to take it, with just a little exposure, and a little more each day. If you try to speed it up you burn and have to start again.
