Hi Guys, I've been to this site before, but now I really need your help.First off - I know...I know...never have unprotected sex. I've learned my lesson.I had unprotected anal sex a week ago, for the last two days, I've noticed that my penis feels really 'wet' and sweaty...thought it was just the heat. But now, when I look at penis, it seems to be oozing water/white (pus?). My penis also burns when taking a piss.I'm shit scared right now. I'm scheduling an appointment with my doc for tomorrow , but wanted to get your help - I have a feeling it's the clap/gonorrhea. Could it be anything else? are these permanent? Am I stuck with them for life? How long is the treatment for? How does the doctor diagnose it?Thanks for reading and not judging...god bless in advance for your responses.

If it's gonorrhea, they take a swap in the urethra and you are prescribed antibiotics.

It may well be gonorrhoea. If it isn't that, it's another sort of urethritis. As sdp said, the doctor will take a swab (up the urethra, I'm afraid), and send it for testing. He'll probably put you on antibiotics straight away. Gonorrhoea is not too difficult to get rid of. Other sorts of urethritis vary.

u may very well have gonorrhea or chlamydia, but u definitely have something for sure. if it burns when u pee, that definitely sounds like a std cuz someone i got with said that's what happened to them, and i got myself checked turns out i had it, too, but it never burned for me when i peed tho. he says he thinks i had it first, i think he had it first, but it's just best not to argue and to get rid of it, lol. u just take four pills at one time of this one thing, i forget what it's called and it's gone over night. u'll find out from your doctor.

Thanks for your responses. I spoke to the person in question and was told that they were clean having been to the doctor recently. The doctor told me it might just be a bacterial infection (uretritis) and took the swabs. I've been given antibiotics. For those with experience, how long does it take for the antibiotics to have an effect? Thanks!

Good luck, that's always a scary experience. Hope it all turns out well for you.
