Please don't have sex without any protection. He needs to be wearing a condom and you need to get some form of protection. Like Ineligible said, no need to worry now. I would do a pregnancy test if your period is a week late...

So scared- am i pregnant?!
-
Okay, first of all - what?! The only reason I ever want to hear that you can't use condoms is because you're allergic to latex. Just about every child doesn't want their parents to know they're having sex, but plenty of them find a way to hide it. If your boyfriend told you he can't use condoms because his parents will find out it's because 1.) he doesn't want to pay for them or 2.) he doesn't like the way they feel. Please don't be a fool. Never have sex without protection. Condoms are a LOT cheaper than a baby, and if you really don't want to use them - get on birth control. If that's not an option, buy the condoms yourself or go to a women's clinic. Most of them will give you condoms for free. And when you need to dispose of them, put them in a little plastic bag, put it in your purse or backpack and dispose of it in a dumpster somewhere. They're everywhere so don't even try to say that's not an option. As far as the "pulling out" method... Let me just say I don't have enough fingers to count how many people I know who have used this "method" and had it fail. There is still a chance of semen sneaking out and yes, you CAN get pregnant off of precum in rare, but still existing, circumstances. Please don't think this is a safe way of having sex. Okay, so onto your pregnancy woes. Calm down and wait for your period. If it doesn't come (or you simply cannot wait), buy a pregnancy test and take it Juno-style in the stores bathroom (as to keep it from your parents). Most now work a few days before your missed period, but I recommend waiting until after you've missed it. Even a pregnancy test is more expensive than condoms. Until then you shouldn't stress yourself out. Stressing out can sometimes cause a woman to start her period early OR late and that will just freak you out more. Now, if you are pregnant, you can either have the kid or abort it and an abortion costs about $1000 minimum and a baby costs thousands more. Those $3 condoms don't sound half bad now, do they? Oh, and just a heads up, if you're a minor, you need parental consent for any surgical procedure - so your parents will find out if you get an abortion or have a baby (obviously). I'm not trying to be mean or talk down to you at all, I'm just trying to give you a reality check. I've seen too many young people (some of my friends included) make these critical in-the-moment mistakes. You need to think ahead before jumping into something as serious as sex. Please just be careful and keep posting. The people on this site are VERY helpful. Best of luck, and please - BUY SOME CONDOMS.

Thanks, and i totally agree...i was being stupid. i hadn't even thought of the whole hiding it in a plastic bag idea until after i had done it. i got some condoms now though...even if there has been difficulties...

ok so the good news is i turned out that, by some act of god, i wasnt pregnant. i was so happy, even if i was 2 weeks late.
then i had to go and screw it all up.
im at college now, and came home a couple weekends ago. my bf and i tried out condoms, and i love them even if he...doesnt.
there were no problems that weekend, with the exception of my first uti ever, which showed up 2 days later. i went to health services oncampus and was put on antibiotics (sulfamethoxazole). despite the discomfort, this was all fine by me, because at least i wasnt going to have another pregnancy scare. of course, oxytocin kicked in quite quickly (thats my story and im sticking to it) and both my boyfriend and i felt the need to see eachother again. that mixed with obligation to library needs, i came home again the next weekend (when i think i was ovulating)for our 6-month anniversary. we were so happy 2 c eachother that we decided to take the risk, again using a condom. we got a bit into it, and he eventually said the thing i LOVE to hear..."oh crap..."
i immediately went to check the condom, which he said was on. i had a few moments in which i freaked out b/c i couldnt feel it and he kept assuring me that it was on and when he pulled out...no condom. i saw my life flash before my eyes. i got dressed and went to the nearest walgreens and got some plan b and took it within the hour. i asked the pharmacist if my antibiotics would affect it, and he said it was only by a few percentages if anything. just to be sure, i called the pharmacy at my school and the guy there told me that my antibiotic could render the pill ineffective.
so it looks like, do to my own stupidity and bad luck, im in the same boat as before. again. and the worst is, this is the third month in a row that im taking plan b. i hate this insanity. i hate the worry. and most of all, i hate what im doing to my body. meanwhile, my bf thinks we're killing our children every time we let alone take a morning after pill. and i dont no how 2 stop. please god make this stop... -
AND i forgot to mention that after the uti was over (probably becuase of those great antibiotics i was on), i started having intense itching and burning in a very private area, with some bleeding as well. this started moments after having sex and has gotten worse as days go by. im now on micanozole, and though i only applied it a few hours ago it still isnt helping and this feels like the worst, most aggressive yeast infection ever. so now im stressed, itchy, in pain, and dont feel like i can talk to anyone, partly because im so ashamed. idt ive ever been this alone...
-
The itching and burning does sound like a yeast infection, but if the miconazole doesn't clear it up in a few days you should go back to the doctor. Is it possible for you to go on oral contraception? It would be a lot better for you than Plan B every month.Plan B is a big hormone load and antibiotics shouldn't stop it working.
-
really? cuz the pharmacist at my college told me that it could stop it from being absorbed or something...
-
also id like to add another symptom....i went to the bathroom earlier and there was a lot of blood...
-
Some antibiotics can interfere with the ordinary oral contraceptive (by two mechanisms, see http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=17192 ), but I'd be surprised if they made a big enough difference to Plan B to stop it working.Blood in the urine can be a symptom of a UTI, but it should always be taken seriously. I think you should go back to your doctor.

ok so the bleeding got a lot heavier today so i made a last-minute appointment with health services. after a thorough check-up, it seems that the uti has cleared up and that the blood seems to be originating from...elsewhere. the current theory is that the plan b has messed up my cycle and now im probably menstruating (although i dont have any of the usual signs, and it seems otherwise...different. cant explain). she recommended coming in after the bleeding stops or if it doesnt stop for a few days
