So It's mostly light cardio or maybe considered moderate cardio, I've got an old elliptical, one of the original ones from Nordic Track.I've got myself up to 3 hours a day for the past week, and I'm feeling pretty good. I got bored because there's not much to do and did 4 hours. So far I haven't had any real problems, legs a little sore from time to time.I just wanted to check with more knowledgeable people than myself, to see if as long as it's not hurting me 3-4 hours a day of exercise is acceptable and not over doing it.

Exercising 3-4 hours a day?

I'd say that every single day might be excessive honestly. Even if you're only doing cardio, you're still breaking down muscle tissue, which needs time to recover just like if you'd been lifting weights. By doing it every day you also place yourself at a higher risk for stress injuries like shin splints or runners knee (both of which really suck, trust me).
Maybe give yourself a day to rest every 2 or 3 days.

That's way too much exercising. You're not giving your body enough time off to rest, which will make you more likely to fall ill.If you're training for a half-, a full marathon or some other long distance race, then that may be acceptable. If not, then 3-4 hours isn't necessary. I would stick with an hour. If you're concerned about the number of calories being burned, you can increase your intensity so you could get a harder workout within that hour.

Well I think you are exercising more because more exercise needs more diet . Which diet foods you are taking ? .I personally think you need to get exercise for 1 hour which is enough for your body . The most important thing is that you need to take rest and relax your body .
