...and concentrate on making friends instead? I've been wanting to have a boyfriend for a long time and things aren't working out well. I'm not ready have sex, don't feel like worrying about the risks that come with it. So should I just not date and focus on getting guy friends (so I can concentrate on getting t know them and see if they really like me to begin with.)?I could just wait 'til I'm ready to have sex, but then when I meet someone I'm still not going to be ready. It's getting to know and trust the guy and trying not to worry about getting pregnant and not hating relying on a pill and a condom to keep me from getting pregnant...and worrying about how I will pay for my pills.Should I focus on finding guys as friends first and let a romantic relationship come naturally or focus on the non boy stuff that's already going on in my life?

Should I take a break from/stop dating...

That sounds like a very good idea to me.

Romance will probably come when you least expect it.

I will try this.

I'm afraid I'll never be ready and I'll just have guy friends who don't want to get involved with me 'cause I don't want to have sex.Hopefully I'll be a guy that will get to know me without the pressure or obligation of sex so early on and he'll try to be with me and make it work. Maybe??
