So I have a kidney stone, I forget if it's 2.4mm or 4.2mm, but I formed in like Tuesday, and it's been a week. I've been taking medications but all but the Percocet has run out. I'm trying to decide if I need to go to a uterologist(sp?) Or if I can/have passed it.I don't have a lot of money to go, so I was hoping to pass it on my own without the sound wave break up thing.Tonight I started in pain again and used the bathroom more frequently, occasionally, I have a little bit of blood in my urine. It's not everytime I go, but every couple of times. They gave me a funnel to use, at one point when I used it. There was a black speck decent size. Maybe almost as big as an apple seed, but I pulled it out, and accidentally crushed it in my fingers.I would assume a Kidney stone isn't this fragile, but I wouldn't know. Was that the stone, is that what the bleeding was caused from. Or did I get a Nice UTI on top of things. And who knows what the black thing was?

Kidney Stone?

Kidney stones don't just suddenly form.. they grow and with time if they are not expelled and become too large, it causes obstruction and pain...The black think I would assume was a blood clot. If a kidney stone were that fragile, you wouldn't be having a problem.

Ii meant it finishes forming and began to pass or whatever. But most of my pain is gone today just a dull ache. So hopefully it's gone or it's about to be

Kidney stones are very VERY painful. I have suffered thru them 2 times. Both times went to the Emergency Hospital for treatment. If it has already passed from your kidney to your bladder, that was what the funnel screen was for. to catch it and give it to the doctor for examinating. to determine what kind of stone it was. Sometime medication will help desolve it but from my experience, they don't work. Most of the pain starts in the lower back side and moves around your side and into your bladder. The pain is caused by the barb's on the stone cutting the canal between your kidney and bladder. If you are passing kidney stones, you most likely will have a lot of blood in your urine. It's a pretty serious matter. should it get lodged within the canal the pressure alone will be enough to double you over and scream with pain....Have it looked at if you do.... It's quite serious!

My pain is more or less completely gone, I really can't go to a doctor or back to the ER because I can't afford a doctor, and the ER only had medicine to give me, they say otherwise I have to go to a Ureologist or something, and I just can't afford it.
I still occasionally have tad amounts of blood in my Urine, I'm not sure if it's because the stone is working on coming out, or if it's already came out and the blood is just there because it made tears and something like piss is going to irritate previous wounds.
My roomie is going to a free clinic some where that's only open on fridays, I'm going to try to get them to at least give me a urine test if I'm still bleeding and tell me what they think.

Well dude, you better have it look at... Good luck
