hi, im 17 now and have started to become concerned about my penis. currently the foreskin is attached all the way around (on various levels) to the glans. I've been looking at various other sites and am confused on whether it will separate by itself or not. when i was younger, 10 maybe, i got eczema, or something akin on the head of my penis and i used to hold the head between my index finger and thumb. i would then squeeze until the head popped backwards. sometimes this would cause a whitish excretion and sometimes blood. I don't know if this is a cause or not.Is there anything i can try to aid separation without seeing a doctor.thanks

Adhesions (i think)

Adhesions can be slowly coaxed to separate through manual manipulation and some oils.. But I can't say that your case is a simple/normal adhesion based on your history. I suppose there could be scar tissue and a true a adhesion that can't be easily separated. I would recommend seeing a doctor about it.

upon closer inspection i am pretty sure that it has separated somewhat since i started to stretch my foreskin 6 months ago, and i recognise that i haven't been masturbating normally (i.e. I've been pulling the foreskin up instead of down) so changing that habit might help somewhat maybe. I'll definitely consider going to the doctor in the near future if i see no change but currently its not a huge pressing issue. Thanks a lot for your response =D

Using a little baby oil helps because if an adhesion separates the oil stops it sticking back together. But if an adhesion won't separate at all over time it may need separation by a doctor under local anaesthetic.
