20 Years Old - Never pulled foreskin back before!
-
Heyo. So I'm 18 and recently started up some sexual activities with my girlfriend. When she was giving me a hand job she pulled down a little too hard too fast and it hurt quite a bit. I ended up asking my mum about it and she said I should be stretching (the fact that she didn't mention this sooner was annoying but whatever) anyways the real question here is I have ripped my foreskin before when I was about 13 and will past damage make it easier to rip or..? I've been able to go past the head with my foreskin when flacid but not erect, only about half way erect.

@Kveldulf Hey Buddy, Welcome to A2A.. This is a great question. I'm personally circumcised but several years ago tried to stretch my foreskin back over the head to restore it. I'll leave your question to the other guys toggle you an answer. I could only tell you what I have read, not experienced... Hang tight. Someone will get back to you on this....

@Kveldulf Hi Kveldulf, where you tore your foreskin it would have repaired with scar tissue. Scar tissue is quite strong after healing is complete, but it may still be a bit weaker than the rest. Importantly, it doesn't stretch like ordinary foreskin.
You'll still need to do stretching exercises, but be gentle. If possible, concentrate the stretching away from the scar. Gentler stretching but more often is probably the way to go. In any case, be patient: you are looking at a time-frame of months.

Hi guys, bit of a long story here. I'm 17 and my girlfriend an I have recently started to introduce ourselves into the whole sexuality realm. So, things are going great, but I'm afraid that we might be having sex soon and I don't know if I can pull my foreskin all the way down in order to have intercourse "the right way". The thing is that when I was little, about 7 years old, my parents took me to the doctor cause they wanted to have my penis circumcised. The doctor talked them into not circumcise me and pull my foreskin instead. So, apparently I had an adhesion around my glans, so me being a small child I couldn't bear the pain of the pulling of the foreskin. My parents got frustrated at me and decided to go to the doctor an let her pull it instead. So that happened and it hurt A LOT. Though, it worked, I could pull my foreskin completely and without pain after a few weeks. After that I got bad luck and had 3 intestine surgeries in the span of 2 years (a tale for another day). The thing is that after the surgeries and the recovery from them, the habit of pulling my foreskin went away. I forgot about it completely. One year ago I went with another doctor and she examined my penis. She asked me to pull the foreskin down, but I couldn't do it, not because of pain, but because of the memory of the pain I felt the first time. She was very comprehensive about it and calmed me down. So I tried again and began pulling it slowly until the majority of the tip showed, I couldn't go farther because of the fear of the pain. She examined it and said everything was cool, but that I needed to try pulling it down in a hot shower (like y'all have said in the forum) or trying to masturbate, using Vaseline or lube. I've tried and pulled to where I showed the doctor, it doesn't hurt but I feel discomfort. The thing is that I'm still scared of the horrendous pain I experimented the first time. So, do you think I should start trying to pull my foreskin and/or doing stretching exercises ? Should I be this scared of the pain ? Do you think I might have phimosis ? Thank you in advance not only for the advice, but for showing me that this is a more common problem than what I thought, and that I shouldn't feel embarrassed about it, like I felt before :)

@Q88 First of all, welcome to A2A. I understand your fear of the pain you felt when you were younger, and applaud you for trying to deal with it to make yourself ready for time with your girlfriend.
If you were able to retract your foreskin at one time, barring any physical changes, it would seem that you should be able to do so now. Have you tried the "warm shower" advice? I would try to pull it back incrementally, going just ever so slightly further than the week before. Notice that I said week before, and not day before. This is not a fast process. You need to prove to yourself that you can do this, and do it without great pain. As you stretch the skin it should become easier to do than when you started.
If you find yourself unable to do the stretching exercise which should help you to retract the foreskin, you might want to ask your doctor for a prescription for a corticosteroid cream which you apply to the penis until you have completed the retraction exercises, and then stop using the crèam.

@readytogo Hey Q88 and Readytogo.....
My Brother got some desensitizing cream to put on the head of his penis form our doctor while he worked at stretching his foreskin. so he could endure and manage the pain while he did his exercises.. He also used to sit and soak in a hot bath and work on his stretching exercises while soaking in the tub. You might call and ask your doctor to call in a prescription for that desensitizing cream and the corticosteroid cream if the over the counter ones don't work... Just a thought. -
Hi guys, glad i found this thread as i need people to help guide me through this as i don't really know how to handle it.
So i should start of by basically saying i'm 16 and have never pulled it back, every time i try i don't even get past the tip because of the pain. So basically all i want to know is how should i start.
Thanks guys.

@Jackyboi15 Welcome to A2A. As you can see by the rest of the posts in this thread, you are not alone. I would suggest that you look back through previous posts and get an idea of what (and how) you need to do. The important thing to keep in mind is that you don't want to get impatient and try to hurry things. This is a process that will take several months of slowly stretching to be successful. If, after reading the excellent posts ahead of yours, you still have questions, please come back and ask them

@Jackyboi15 I wanted to add, that the pain you feel is very normal. It's because the head has been covered and is uber sensitive. My brother used to take hot baths and use baby oiled stretch his foreskin under the water. he said it helped with it being sensitive. The more you expose the head, the less painful it will become over time. Its not going to happen over night, so take it slow and over several months, you should see some progress... I wish Parents and doctors told boys about this at an early age so when they start puberty, their foreskin would already rolls back easily without causing pain and they could clean their penis, jack off and or have sex without any problems. Take it slow my friend. Oh and welcome to A2A... Keep us up dated on your progress... Cheers!

hey guys im 15 years ols and i have never `rolled back my foreskin ive tried sometimes but it hurts really bad but i want to get used to it and pull it back any help?
-
@Bipin Welcome to A2A. I would suggest reading back on this post for some great stretching tips and also check out the link: https://phimosisjourney.wordpress.com/guide/
Good Luck and remember it will take you several months to stretch it so don't rush it and don't give up Do it every morning when you take a shower or when you pee.. Before you know it it will have stretched enough to roll pass the head.
-
@Roc when should i start to roll it back while stretching or after a while of stretching?
-
I think you can roll it back at any time, but, as with stretching, never force it. You want to make sure you never tear the skin, and, when rolling back, you want to make sure it won't be so tight there is a risk it gets stuck. After stretching regularly for long enough (months) it should roll back easily.

hey guys new here and need some help. im 18 and when fully erect i can only retract the foreskin about 3/4 of the way with ease and no pain. after this however, i am unable to retract it more
-
also sometimes when i am hard, but not completely hard i am able to retract it the whole way, but if i push my penis down in any way towards the floor it hurts
-
What's the question?
-
@sdp hey so I'm 15 turning 16 soon and I've never like pulled back my foreskin I can get the tip to show a little but then I get scared and put it back up I just can't bring myself to do it and I've read people saying "stretching" but I don't understand what that means can anyone help it's been on my mind a lot and I'm worried I'll get a infection.
-
@frank "Stretching" means pulling the foreskin gently but regularly so that it grows looser. There isn't one right way to do it, but http://www.newhealthadvisor.com/How-to-Loosen-Foreskin.html gives three methods and https://phimosisjourney.wordpress.com/guide/ includes diagrams and a lot of advice.

@Ineligible what do you mean by pulling since yesterday I like grab the side and kinda pull the right side further to the right and the left side further to the left for 10 minutes every morning and night,am I doing it right?
