i decided to change myself and do something in my life. i had already decided i will breed dogs and train them. recently i saw hamsters at a shop and decided to get a pair and see if i succeed in breeding hamsters first and get to know more people in the business. i already have made a few friends in the animal breeding and selling business. i feel a bit insecure as this is the first time i have decided to do something like this. i dont have confidence and i blabber out the truth when asked. i am a bit naive maybe even a little stupid when it comes to doing business.am i doing the right thing? i keep wondering. any opinions guys? i am honestly inexperienced in doing jobs or business, i suck big time and cant lie. i am too honest what should i do?

Since rodents breed so easily, it would seem that this would be a good place to start. Have you considered, though, what you are going to do with all these furry creatures once things get going? You may not be familiar with this but the picture that comes to my mind is Lucy Ricardo working on a candy wrapping assembly line when the line starts to speed up.I want to be clear, though, that I am not knocking your plan for your future. I laud anyone who picks themself up and decides to make something of their life.

Why not try it? You might be able to sell your hamsters to a pet shop and get some money. For long-term breeding you will want to increase the genetic pool, of course, by bringing in new stock. You will also find that some individuals are not good breeders. We have bred budgerigars and a lot of them are poor parents or are gay. Breeders tend to sell their non-performing stock as pets.To breed dogs you will need a reasonable amount of space - how much will depend on the size of the dogs. Don't forget that dogs need daily walks and it's hard to take too many at one time.

i have already considered everything. as for breeding hamsters i will only breed them for a while just for gathering some experience and see how the market works here. its temporary. as for dogs its a permanent one and i have enough space for 2 dogs and i can take 1 dog at a time for walks. i know many pet shop owners and one guy said he would buy all my hamsters from me if i have a litter. after 2-3 litters i will quit. mostly everyone near my house and petshop owners are asking me to breed animals cuz i love them a lot and take good care of them. they said "if its you we can be sure the animals were taken good care of and have a good temperament". i have been hearing this for years now.

This might be just the thing for you.

Ok, so what's your gut telling you that you will have more?

i will prolly have more lol cuz its breeding business. people are telling me online that i put my hands in a nasty business cuz hamster moms eat their kids. the breeder told me not to touch the female and she wont eat the kids until 4 weeks old. i am trying to get a hang on the stuff and learning everything. lol its thrilling to learn something new.

lol thanks okay update: i made a friend! the hamster breeder is now my friend and he promised to give me a pair of hamsters for free and get a new cage for lesser price for me too! he is teaching me about hamsters and how to breed them etc. he is helping me a lot in learning about hamsters but in exchange he wants to eat cakes i bake i said okay and made a coconut mango gateau for him. he also said he will help in getting customers to buy the babies when they are born. my hamsters are becoming tame everyday and eating out of my hand yay even the female aggressive one is warming up to me.i asked him about the "nasty" stuff in this business and he told me "if you annoy the female hamster the first day she gives birth then she will eat the babies so during and after birth for couple days you shouldnt bother the female hamster and everything will be fine" thats a relief phew...

i think i chose the right path or direction to step forward. i am happy. i do have some worries like how to start training my dog for dog shows and will he be able to do it without penalties in the ring etc my mom called me and told me "i will buy you the female puppy then 50% of your earning from breeding will have to be mine" i replied "no thank you. i dont plan on sharing my earnings with you". my psychiatrist also encouraged me to go for it. dog shows, dog breeding etc seems to have triggered some new "life" in me. he said i will get well sooner if i exercise more since my body is feeling odd due to lack of exercise.

Dog shows are probably for later, after you have some experience of training, I would think.

i have experience in training dogs, i have trained 3 dogs so far and help others train their dogs too. my dog knows more than 20 commands and a couple tricks. he will pass the beginners test without problem. he wont pass the advanced test in obedience unless i train him more. Also i was told that most people were in dog shows to make money (in my country) and very few take it seriously so i have a chance if we try our best i may or may not win but i can take part that means a lot to me. PS: i feel nervous when i think about the dog show, feel a bit of anxiety and panic cuz i have to perform before a lot of people.
