Alrighty, here is a conundrum for the almighty minds of the forums. I have read a lot, but never posted. Fun eh?So anywho, here's the deal. There is a girl. That's it. Haha just kidding. Basically me and her met at a theater production, and she liked me a lot, and I was trying not to like her, cause I had a girlfriend at the time. Eventually my relationship ended, and I called her up (we hadn't talked in a while) and asked her to a dance at my school. She had a boyfriend, which hurt like hell, but I figured that was that. Then there was this 24-hour walk for Cancer, and I saw her again there, with her boyfriend. Not fun I may tell you. But basically later she found me after her boyfriend left, and we talked and hung out for the rest of the time. I realized my feelings were once more reborn cause I had not seen her in so long, and I told her. Saw her a few times, and eventually she broke up with her boy. We talked on the phone a lot, realized a mutual attraction emotionally and physically, but never acted on it. Eventually we drifted away (she lives in the next town and is as busy as I am) AGAIN! So I start dating someone new, but I see her again after about 3 months, and we hang out a lot again, our feelings flair up AGAIN! but nothing happens...AGAIN! The theater program that we were in before happens again, and we were both in it again, but she seemed like a very different person. It seemed that no matter what I did, she did not want to open up to me, or talk to me, even though she said that she wasn't mad at me, and still considered me a friend. I still talk to her, and expressed my feelings for her, and she answered, but she never finished, and I keep trying to get her to open up, but for some reason, she seems a lot colder to everyone in general. And now the grand question: Is there ANY way to get her to open up to me? I just wish that if something was bothering her, which it seems, that she would tell me, and she doesn't seem to want to tell me, and it's really bothering me. Thanks a bunch folks!

First off, are you still with your girlfriend? If you are, then why are you messing with this other girl that you know you had feelings for in the past? You said it really hurt like hell when she was with some guy. She's probably felt the same way now that you're with some new girl.Eventually she broke up with her boyfriend and you were both single. Nothing happened... But did you take the opportunity to ask her out? Sometimes when nothing happens you have to make things happen. If right now you are both single I think you should take the opportunity and open up to her. The best way to have someone open up to you is to open up to them first. Don't mention that she's been extra cold lately or anything, stay positive.Good Luck!

u cant force someone to open up to you
all you can do is ask her whats doing / whats wrong / why the coldness. she's the only one with the answers here... not us,, sorry! -
No, I am not still with my girlfriend, that would really suck. We are both single, and yeah I just let opportunities slip away, and I guess I'm paying for it in a sense. I'm not really asking you guys to lead me through this step-by-step, just asking for some advice, since I have never really dealt with this before.

Well, it sounds like you two have a thing for each other so don't let a good opportunity slip. There are a bunch of different reasons why she's being cold, but like cool said she's the only one who knows. If I were you I'd keep talking to her and be especially warm. Thaw that ice baby.

haha alright, thanks a bunch folks, I will do my best to thaw the ice.
