Hi to all,My story is typical so I'll make it brief.Been hooked on Vicodin Es for 2 years. I went for help and I was told 30 day detox and sweat it out or Methedone clinic detox and comfortably" ween off it.Of course I took the easy way out and joined the clinic. Well 3 months later I lost 30 pounds/ looked like an Aids patient and as soon as I was down to 5 MGs, I started to feel the withdrawal symstoms again. I left the clinic and went back on Vicodins. I gained back most of the weight but I'm sure that my Liver is not happy. Outside of giving my liver a rest for 3 months, it was a waste of time.I Need help bad and to be truthful, I like the feeling of the vicodins. It's like an anti depressent (not that i'm depressed) but how do you quit something that deep down inside, you enjoy it? So I'm hooked phyically and mentally. Has anyone had my experience and over came the vicodins? Thanks,Lou

Most drug addictions are the same, they feel good, and us drug addicts like them. I have absolutely no idea how to quit doing drugs or what I would do w/o them. If you have a clue I would love to know. This pseudo-psyco bullshit from these AA type of organizations seems to be great if you are living in a curb and begging for a dollar to get your next bottle of Thunderbird, but it doesn't make a shit of sense to me in my life.I have absolutely no advice for you on how to quit. But I can say that as a drug addict I am in the same boat. One sure fire way to quit for life is to die, but that seems a bit extreme for a little pill.
