dying and coming back to life doesnt really mean theres a god. its usually the doctor who brings you back anyway
-
Do you believe in God?
-
Technology and doctors brought her back. God had nothing to do with it.
-
I believe in God, but sometimes I'm very shakey. I mean, I'm a practicing Catholic, yet I find God is not in my life so much. I have a feeling that I was meant for something, I've had this feeling ever since I had these MPD-kinda symptoms, so I think it might be just me, but I hope I was meant for something, and God usually creates you for that purpose, so that's mainly why I believe in him.Warped, eh?

not that.. but like.. the stories they have.... its interesting
-
i don't believe in gravity
-
Well, ya, ever since the Passion Of The Christ came out I've been seeing a bunch more Christianity related things every store I go. So I guess you can say Jesus was brought into the mainstream slightly. It's odd how something like religion can go in and out "of style". Of course, someone dedicated to the religion obviously sees past that.

Cel - Not all of this is reall directed towards you.How has it been proven? Because a scientist says so? Because some gray haired "feller" said one day, "oh I'm breathing some type of gas. Let's call it oxygen"? Same thing with gravity. Some "expert" saw something hit the ground and said, "oh we'll call that gravity." Give me a break.Science is not 100% guys. You believe oxygen exists because you see the EFFECTS of oxygen. A scientist can at least give you proof that his theories may be valid. God is a completely different story. It's a faith thing. Believing in something that you can't see. A lot of people look at that as a crutch so they don't have to face facts but you know I think the exact opposite is true. People are scared to believe in what they can't see because it scares them, so they rely of numbers, figures, and statistics. I've seen a lot of people reply about doctors being the ones with technology to bring people back. BUT did you know that there are things that happen in hospital setting that even doctor's and nurses CANNOT explain? Believe me, I get to see it everyday. I'm right smack in the middle of it thanks to my nursing clinicals. There are some things that happen that are truly miracles. And I say miracle because there's no other way to explain it to someone who doesn't believe. Where as I look at it as God just doing his job. I've been to several funeral in the last 2 years, all of people in my family that I loved very much. And not a single one was a horrible person. They were the best of the best. So it just goes to show, He only takes the good ones first.

but neither are you

ok gravity, is proven. you know how most objects just randomly float around in space? well why does the moon stay put and rotate around earth? because earth's gravity has a pull on it and the moon has its own because its so big so it has a pull on earth. why do we have scheduled tides? because it takes 28 days for the moon to revolve around the earth, each time the earth or moon turns the moons gravity affects the tides more or less. gravity, is a fact. definition: a. The natural force of attraction exerted by a celestial body, such as Earth, upon objects at or near its surface, tending to draw them toward the center of the body. b. The natural force of attraction between any two massive bodies, which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. c. Gravitation. Oxygen. everyone feels oxygen, everyone breathes it, you CAN see it sometimes(underwater n stuff) oxygen is a fact. God, only some people feel it(or claim to) you cant see it, you have no proof at all that its there.

Does the mind exist?
-
you can tell that your mind is there, but you cant tell that a god is out there. if you feel emotion n stuff have an imagination, think, then you know your mind is there. thats pretty much what it is. but theres no way at all to tell a god is there.
-
You can't scientifically prove that a mind exists, yet you know it's there. What you just said to me was observation. So did you just prove that a mind exists through observation? If so, I can prove that God exists through my observations. And through the observations you just stated I can prove that a soul exists.

hmmm you're right lol

hmmmm ... what about all that stuff like ... if god exists why did he let hitler kill so many jews and other ppl ?

Newton's Law of Gravity put simply is: If object A has mass- Ma and object B has mass- Mb then the force on object A is directed towards object B and has magnitude with R being the distance between the two objects. So the formula looks something like this: F = G Ma Mb / r2 (r to the second power)Again this is a law that you see the EFFECTS of. You don't see gravity (meaning it has no physical aspects that are tangible) itself. You see the effect by, let's say, watching an apple hit the ground. So because you see the effect of something you believe it exists. It's noted that you said there is gravity on the moon. There is 0 gravity being directly on the moons surface. And it's solar gravity is only 1/6 of the earths gravity. Technically speaking the earth's gravity is 83% strong than the moon. So what's keep it from being sucked down right to us and killing us all? You can't see it, or touch it, yet you still believe it's gravity making things fall or making things stay put. How do you know it's gravity and not something else.**Just a bit of a factoid: Did you know your gravity has a small puporse in creating waves by using the moon? Because it creates those waves on oceans and lakes, etc. it keeps the water from going stagnate.**There are scientific "laws" that are accepted as law because you see th effect of the law. Not the "law" itself.

That's like asking the question, "If God is so forgiving why does he condemn people to hell?"There's this thing called free will that He chooses not to mess with. Also, atheists (as it seems Hitler was and I'll tell you why in a moment) renounce the presence of anything spiritual. When you die, you die and that's it. Therefore, God being the gentleman he is, he backs down and doesn't force you to believe. Hence free will. Hitler CLAIMED to be a Christian as he quoted Christianity many times in his writings. Most people believe it was a lot of lip service that he gave to it in his book Mein Kampf. Although supposedly believing in God, he made Nazism the official religion and replace the Bible with Mein Kampf in schools. It was also reported that they were forbidden to believe in God although "Gott mit uns" (God Is With Us) could be found on their militants belt buckles. He also had plans to muder the pope and authorized the murder of thousands of priests and nuns. In 1933, Hitler said, 'It is through the peasantry that we shall really be able to destroy Christianity because there is in them a true religion rooted in nature and blood.'" But he's also been quoted saying things that WERE very christian in nature such as, "Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without religious foundation is built on air; consequently all character training and religion must be derived from faith . . ." As an interesting side note some people say that he acted messianic complext and actually believed himself to be a god or the messiah. There's really no real way to tell when Hitler was giving his honest views.Oh and to answer the question above: God doesn't send anyone in particular to Hell. They send themselves. Just like some clubs have rules about entering (i.e. you have to be dressed a certain way...etc.) God has some rules about entering His kingdom. There's only one and it's pretty simple. You just have to believe.

god doesn't exist

It’s called population control!Just think on how many wars/disputes there have been since man has walked the earth (and usually how often they have been), and look at the ever increasing over population we are experiencing at the moment.

says who?
