Hey, I have this strange situation. I have never had sex before but I have what looks like a wart on the shaft of my penis. It's not real big, and doesn't even hurt. And it's not real dry either like regular warts. I don't know how I could have gotten it and I can only remember having it since i was like 10 or something... I'm pretty sure it's not a genital wart because it's just one and I've seen some pictures of genital warts on the internet and those are pretty awful compared to mine. I was wondering if I could use these wart remover patches that I got from the store on that wart. I've used them on my hand once and it worked great. It says they aren't for genital warts, but I don't think I have genital warts, it just seems like a regular wart. So can I try them out, or do I have to see a doctor?

Wart on my penis?

Hey bud, I wouldn't put one of those patches on my penis and don't think you should either. As long as it isn't giving you problems or appear to be infected, just have your doc look at it next time you're there. Since its been around for a while I don't know that it is anything to get really worried about.

Wart remover patches contain a corrosive chemical, but they don't work well (in my experience, they don't work at all). It's safer and more effective to have them frozen off with liquid nitrogen by a doctor.
