Hi, I didn't know where to post this, so sorry if it's in the wrong place. My girlfriend had to have her right ovary removed, due to it having a tumor on it, so she had to have it surgicily removed.I wanted to know if women can get pregnant with just one ovary, I've heard that they have a slim chance, but I wanted to make sure, and was hoping someone here could give me some proper detail on it?Thanks

About sex and pregnancy

Like no1sexpotinusa said, as long as the other ovary is releasing an egg there is a chance she can get pregnant. I think the ovary would release an egg every other month if I'm not mistaken.

It can release one every month. Yes only one ovary releases an egg each month, but it's not set up so that they alternate. It can come from either one.
