I discovered this single vein at the end of my right testicle by chance in shower a few days ago, so I don't know how long it has been here. It is firmly attached to the testicle itself and seems to be rather thin and runs horizontally with a tip at about the middle of the testicle's side. I believe it is a vein by its shape and since I can see a faint green at the area (if the testicle rolls, the color moves too). From what I read off the internet, varicocele is a group of veins and generally occurs on the left testicle, or at least both. But in my case, I can only feel a single vein on the right. I can't really tell if the epididymis is bigger on one side or not. Can someone with varicocele experience or knowledge please tell me if this is varicocele? Also, my penis has been bent to the right ever since 7, 8 years ago and my right testicle hangs lower than the left, so I am wondering if this could simply be an abnormal growth? And a last question, what is the difference between a testicular cancer lump and varicocele? Someone please, pleease respond, thanks.

Someone please help! is this varicocele?

Hey bud, a variocele is usually going to be like a bag or worms that isn't necessarily attached to your testicle and there'll probably be some pain as well. There is supposed to be some tubing attached to your testicles to carry fluids etc, is that not what you're feeling on your right side? As to one hanging lower, you're supposed to be that way, helps protect the jewels when you're doing something physical or even sitting, allows them to be "spaced" correctly. Testicular cancer would appear as a bump or knot on your testicle, much different than a variocele. And finally, some bending or curve in your penis is also totally common and nothing to worry about at all. Hope this helps, let us know if you need anything else!

wow thanks for all the answers, and sorry for all these questions. It's just that I suddenly noticed this thing and got scared... Just one more question then: well as I mentioned, I think this thing is a vein because of the color and feel. But I can't really tell how hard it is, which is kinda worrying me. So my question is, do testicular cancer lumps have a color to them? Can I be sure that this is a normal vein from what I observed. Once again I beg for answers. Thanks.

You wouldn't be able to see a cancerous lump on your testicle it all, you'd only feel it and then a doc would have to confirm exactly what it is. From what I'm hearing bud you've found a vein or something similar. Keep checking on it and if you have any pain or swelling, then be concerned about it and have things checked out, if none of that happens, you're fine and don't worry about it at all. And again, don't think twice about asking questions, that's why we're here!

Yea I think thats what I will do, monitor it for a while myself and then have the doc take a look at it if something goes wrong. Once again thanks for all the reponses, really really appreciate it.
