hey all i just stumbled across this forum looking for clues. Over the last month i've had loads of suicidol thoughts and been feeling really down and generally not happy. I recently split with my GF and my exam results in the summer were pretty damn crappy. I despise my part time job and my college is going really quite bad. Over the last month i've lost over a stone in weight without any changes really to exercise. I end up spending most of my time in my room just thinking all day getting more and more depressed. I know i should see a doctor or something at least to talk about it i don't get on with my parents at all and i don't feel its somethign i can talk to my friends about any ideas of what i should do?

Ya, you seem to have symptoms of depression. But that can easily be confused for grief after breaking up with your girlfriend. That's up to you to decide whether it goes beyond that or not. Either way, I'd schedule an appointment to make sure.
If you don't want to talk to your parents or friends about it, don't. It's your life and you decide what you want to keep personal or not.
