It is common for the left testicle to hang lower than the right. I'm not so sure about the testicle hanging upside down though.

One testical always hangs lower than the other so thats nothing to worry about. But im not sure about the epididymes mabey someone else will see this and answer.

Don't worry about it. Mine does the same.

Are you sure you don't have a varicocele? A varicocele is a bunch of swollen twiseted veins that usually occur around the left testicle. Two of the symptoms are it usually causes the left testicle to hang lower than the right, and you can feel these tubes on the bottom of the testicle hanging near the bottom of the scrotum, that feel kind of like a bag of worms. Do a search on this site for 'varicocele' and read up on what I've written on the subject, to see if you may have this.

Thank you to all who posted. I really appreciate it. By the way, Focus, I did some reading and the symptoms that they describe for varicocele seem to just about fit. Thanks very much to all who replied.Oh and about the "upside down" thing, I thought this was it because I was lying in bed one night and rolled over and felt qutie a bit of pain ,I think I caught the left one between my legs! I may not have noticed this before but when I checked myself out the next day I noticed this and I thought that something may have "shifted".-D

Glad we could help. You may want to see a doctor to make sure its nothing else. Twisting the testicle can cause major problems, along with major pain. In some cases, the blood supply to the testicle gets cut off, and the testicle dies in a matter of hours. So if you get severe pain in your testicles, get to an emergency room FAST.
